![]() Law of Attraction Failures:
|
| What we usually do - that postpones the fulfillment of our goals: | What we would prefer to do - that actualizes the fulfillment of our goals: |
| 1) We ask for what we want. | 1) We ask for what we want. |
| 2) We try to allow 'it' to happen. However, we just aren't clear how 'allowing it' really feels especially when it's critically urgent or important. | 2) We allow 'it' to happen with positive, unwavering faith and expectation while taking inspired action. |
| 3) We review what is and judge it as wrong, incomplete, or not what we are wanting. | 3) We review what is and choose to embrace the current reality as Divinely Ordered and Divinely Perfect. We choose to find those things that bring us joy and expand our experience of love. |
| 4) We again ask for what we want, only this time we are slightly more aware of the sense of worry, fear, or doubt that is creeping in due to the lack of proof that what we want is actually going to materialize. Sometimes, we can feel momentarily realigned because we have chosen to do our work (affirmations, visualizations, EFT etc.) | 4) We again ask for what we want and this time we choose to raise our level of clarity, certainty and faith even further (through positive affirmations, visualizations, meditation, treasure-mapping, EFT, mind-entrainment, the 72 Names of God, etc.) We re-affirm our intention with deep, profound conviction. |
| 5) We take physical, mental, and spiritual action in the direction of our dreams occasionally our hope is intermingled with frustration, apathy, fear, pride, or even sense of rebellion. | 5) We take physical, mental, and spiritual action in the direction of your dreams with patience, persistence and a sense of reverence. We seek out joy, love, beauty, and wholeness as a daily experience. |
| 6) We want to trust that all is well but we can't seem to get rid of the mental rumblings, "I'm not good enough", or "maybe the "Secret" law of attraction is bogus". | 6) We choose to trust that all is well. When a negative thought comes up, we gently surrender it by intentionally choosing to embrace and remember our unlimitedness. |
| 7) We look at reality and notice what's congruent and incongruent. We dismiss what's 'good' as not good enough and we bemoan what's 'bad'. | 7) We look at reality; we notice what's congruent and incongruent. We give thanks for both. We refocus on our dream and actively pursue love and joy. |
| 8) We want to realign our thoughts and use the law of attraction. However, we feel frustrated and are compelled to be more 'realistic'. We prepare for 'not having what we want.' | 8) We choose to consciously re-adjust our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors according to greater congruency and alignment with our goals. |
| 9) We choose to say, "It's all good" but we feel, "it's not all good." | 9) We choose to say and feel, "It's all good - all the time." |
| 10) We ask again for what we want. However, we are even more resistant to 'failing' and we give the Universe one last chance to give us what we want. | 10) We choose to be willing to succeed and willing to fail and again ask for what we want with clear intention. |
| 11) We give up. We let it go and assume that what we want isn't going to happen. | 11) We prepare to receive our good and take an active role in finding more joyful and loving experiences. |
| 12) ** If we have really given up and are focusing on the things that bring us joy, we will see either the materialization of what we want or at the very least signs of land. **If we gave it up but underneath feel sad, apathetic, or disappointed, we will continue to experience signs of land but fail to recognize them as anything other than 'driftwood.' |
12) We repeat the above process with every new idea and with greater clarity. We realize that we are so grateful that the Divine Order reigns supreme as we wouldn't want it any other way. Now, with more understanding about what we really want, and how all that we desire is already melding together, we continue to refine, define, clarify, adjust, give thanks, take action, and prepare to receive. |
For me, it is truly humbling to know that even though I know the process above and I know which path is the more optimal road for creating all that I desire, I too find myself in the middle of the self-sabotaging road of fear, doubt, and spiritual disconnection!
Our work is to be willing to constantly but gently, continue to readjust and get back on the faithful track that 'all is well' and 'I am indeed a fabulous creator.' As you can see from the two columns above, there's a rhythm to conscious creation: First we ask for what we want, then we accept, love, and allow what is, then we seek more joy and love through inspired action, then we ask for what we want with greater clarity and begin the process again.
Watch for language signals that indicate 'how' we are creating:
Having explained why we create the way we do, I'll suggest a few things you can do about it.
When we've already jumped overboard without a life preserver, the first order of business is to surrender to the sea! This does not mean we stop swimming but it does mean that we accept the fact that we must deal with the issue at hand. Fighting the water robs the precious energy that we need to survive.
Accept what is as Divinely Perfect - even when you cannot possibly understand "how?!?!" It's too late now to wish it hadn't happened. The only thing left to do is allow it to be. When you surRender to what is as all part of the Divine Plan you render it powerless over you. By accepting the Divine Order to any situation, you stop giving the negative aspects of the problem your attention and neutralize the impact of unhelpful reactions. SurRendering feels positive, hopeful, and peaceful. It does not feel fearful, doubtful, sad, or apathetic. If you think you've surRendered but continue to feel disconnected, then you are still fighting the water and wasting precious energy.
Once you've stopped the energy leakage by accepting Divine Order, you will feel a sense of courageous peace. Your mottos become "I can handle this", "this too shall pass", and "bring it on!"
Now, if I were in this situation, I would take a day to EFT (use Emotional Freedom Technique) to neutralize every fearful thought I've ever had about this situation; all the past memories I can conjure up that remind me of this situation, and all the thoughts and feelings that are negative about the consequences. Not only will this deepen your ability to surRender to the Divine Order, but it will also neutralize the negative vibrations that have been creating the opposite of what you want from the very beginning. From this new place of neutrality, you can now begin again to ask for what you want with greater clarity, certainty, conviction and faith.
It's not over - your conscious creation capacity is never over. Your work is to learn from what is, trust that all is well and continue to redirect your intentions. Take a deep breath and start swimming with conviction and you'll not only get through this but you'll find that the outcome was absolutely part of the Divine Plan for your life.
