So WHAT IS NEW? (story about Lost whales)
« on: May 24, 2007, 04:59:25 PM »

Hello everyone!
All is well here in Cali.  the days are getting warmer...thank goodness fo the delta breeze.....speaking of the delta...I am sure (it has been on national news) you have heard about the renegade humpback  whales (mom and her calf) that kinda lost their way from the ocean to the river here in my area!    Well...please who ever reads this blog send your loving energy to these whales and set the intention....I keep saying..."Nothing is lost in the mind of God, not even Delta and Dawn' (the names given to them) so they will head back home to the ocean.  They need the salt water to help heal their injuries.  These whales have  caused quite a show and people are coming from all over to catch a glimpse of them!
Here is the latest brief article I could find:

May 24, 2007 - 1:09PM

Concerns for the health of two lost, injured humpback whales grew as they wildly slapped their tails on the water, a possible sign of distress, as they lingered on the Sacramento River far from their ocean home.

Boat crews banging metal pipes underwater managed to drive the pair further downstream, closer to the bridge that the mother and her calf had been circling near for the past three days. They were still more than 100 kilometres from the Pacific.

Scientists said they were concerned about the tail-slapping behaviour, known as "lobbing", because the whales had been swimming along calmly since they wandered up the Californian river more than a week ago.

"The whales were fairly quiet for a period of days. Then they weren't so quiet. So the question is, why have they changed?" said Trevor Spradlin, a marine biologist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

The humpback whales, nicknamed Delta and Dawn, were apparently injured during a run-in with a boat's propeller, and the freshwater environment has hampered their recovery.

"The wounds appear to have worsened over time and their skin has changed from smooth and shiny to irregular and pitted," said Frances Gulland of the Marine Mammal Centre.

The injuries and tail-slapping have added urgency to scientists' efforts to push the mother and her calf back to their saltwater home.

They hope to encourage the pair to return to salt water quickly, without further upsetting the whales.

"Stressing even a healthy whale is not good. Stressing an injured whale is worse," said Brian Gorman, a spokesman for NOAA.

The humpbacks had travelled 145 kilometres inland before turning around at the Port of Sacramento on Sunday and heading back toward the ocean. They were making progress on Monday until they reached the Rio Vista Bridge and began swimming in circles.

Scientists theorised the whales began circling because vibrations from traffic on the bridge upset them.

Yes..it has been quite an ordeal.  I got a call last night from one of the members of my healing circle and a group is going to the river Sunday for a healing session on the whales.  I also heard another whale was seen in the San Francisco Bay.  I have not confirmed this yet..but it is not impossible!   Keep sending your healing energy ...these whales are running out of time!

In love and light~

Mama and her calf ARE headed back to the ocean.  Our healing circle went out yesterday at about 1:15....we sent some very strong healing energy and in about 15 minutes following... the whales finallky went under the bridge and have been heading south towards the ocean ever since.  this was a BEAUTIFUL sight.....and our group moved ahead of them up the river to continue sending our prayers and healing energy.    I can tell you that it was a very emotional day...and seeing them come up and spout....was incredible.   Please continue your prayers as they are not quite out of the fresh water yet....although the area they are in now has a higher salt content and they were shot with antibiotics on Saturday, I know that this will help them have the strength to get home...where the healing can begin.  Some incredible things happened yesterday during ALL OF THIS.......all I can say is  that when we are connected to the divine...anything is possible!

Thank you God...Archangel Ariel, Archangel Raphael.   We called on you and you intervened!  Blessed be.

They made it home !    Delta and Dawn made it back to the ocean.   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy   A very emotional week...with a beautiful ending.
The last article I read....the whales were resting near .....ANGEL ISLAND..... near the Golden Gate Bridge and during the night on Tuesday, scientists and Marine biologists said they slipped back into the ocean.  No goodbyes from the mom and calf..but a safe and happy return to their native waters!    Grin

as you shouldn't!    Every thing does happen for a reason.   Law of cause and effect.

Deepak Chopra, a leader in mind-body medicine, identified the issue in
his 1993 book "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success";

"...no debt in the universe ever goes
unpaid. There is a perfect accounting
system in this universe, and everything
is a constant `to and fro' exchange of
energy."

In the 1997 edition of his book "Rising Out of Chaos", spiritual leader
Simon Peter Fuller emphasized the importance of living in harmony with
the Law;

"We are totally responsible for our
every thought, word and deed while
on Earth, and karma, both positive
and negative, ensures that we re-
balance all the energy or matter (so-
called sin) we have ever disturbed."

MORE:

"For every action there is equal and opposite reaction."

It's the law, and it was expressed in spiritual teachings long ago;

"Be as wise as serpents and harmless as doves."

ALL IS WELL .
That's my mantra.
We individually , and the plant  as a whole, can get in or out of balance.
