I  have discovered this kind of love 28 years ago !
It is possible .Especially if you decide to love yourself first.

Hiya!

Yeah I believe in everlasting love and that men can love. However my views about love has changed over the years.
Mainly because married couples etc get fed up with each other and and the sex life goes down hill esp when you have kids or work commitments. However I can still love someone with all the above reasons just as long as we can talk through problems as and when they arise.

I'm also in a quest for love but it's more of a lust, fun friendship thing that I want to then grow into love, without and heavy stuff. I think people rush into relationships so fast (incl me) that they don't give it develope. Then after the honey moon period 3-18 months they want out for many reasons. What ever happened to courting?

And yes for sure you will find it IF you do love yourself first. I keep telling myself that because I have just starting looking and testing the waters again after a few years break. I Have always loved myself (not in the big headheaded way) but never found anything thtat lasted more then 9 months. i did have a 3 yrs relationship when I was 17 but I think it was dead after 3 months but stayed in it for some silly reason. I don't know if I'm doing anything right or wrong because all my ex's wanted me back and but by then I never had the gut feeling that it was right to go back as it would be the same.

In my case, people always think two women together must be so perfect, and that we would just understand each other all the time.  There are relationships like that but mostly, we are still two very different people, and you've just added two emotional creatures together....which can be a dangerous thing to do!  Grin

it is a good thing that we are still opening to love and relationships with other people...willing to allow things to flow in all good ways
