Well... what do you think about this process ? the forums were buzzing with it a few months ago ... i personally don't really get it..

I don't think it could just "heal" everything, but so far it does help me be more conscious about being loving and non-judgemental if I repeat those phrases. I read a very inspiring post by someone on a Ho'oponopono Powerful Intentions message board: A Miracle???
This morning, I awoke at 6 am feeling real down and out of sorts. My body did not feel rested either. As I began repeating the Ho'oponopon phrases, a thought came into my mind re the controversy which is now beginning about whether the movie the Secret is a Lie or not. Then the thought came as how one of my "traits" that is still causing a bit of turmoil inside me needs to be dealt with.
Next the words "As you sow, so shall you reap" and "Judge not lest you be judged" entered my awareness. As these words were just sitting there and I looked at them to see what was going to come next, I wondered, "how many people would want to debate, argue, blah, blah, blah whether these words are lies or not, yet how many of us moment by moment live in accordance with these laws, truths or whatever one wants to call them."
I realized I was having a big aha moment re Jimmy. I then thought of how Eckhart Tolle and Ariel & Shya Kane talk about living life in the Present Moment, being alert and seeing without judging or defining what we see, but listening within the stillness.
Then I thought of how Dr. Len says, whatever we see out there is a projection of what is inside us and it is therefore our 100% responsibility to clean and erase whatever in us that is causing what we see whether it is about someone else or ourselves directly.
I realized that I have not been remembering to do this moment by moment and the results are evident, sometimes daily.
I got up and began my day as usual with a cup of coffee and listening to the I love you recording on my iPod. I also was going to read again chapter 2 of Mabel Katz" The Easiest Way ( http://www.amazon.com/Easiest-Way-Problems-Happiness-Wealth/dp/0974882011/sr=8-1/qid=1172327592/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/002-2902237-7467217?ie=UTF8&s=books ). This chapter is titled "What is a Problem" and is about this morning's aha moment that I mentioned above. However, the thought came to listen to an album of operatic arias by one of the leading younger tenors of today, Salvatore Licitra which I have on my iPod. Some of you may remember my hearing in both ears went totally south many years ago which ended my teaching career and performing as an tenor who was constantly performing sacred and operatic music. Music was my life and whenever I was down I could always listen to some favorite arias, operas, string quartets, symphonies, choruses, etc and very quickly be back in that special place beyond mind and body. Music was my connection to God, myself and others. When I lost the ability to hear (and sing) music even via the finest hearing aids made plus using headphones, a huge part of me died. Whenever I sang, my mind was quiet and I felt connected to God and the music just poured through me as I surrendered and was the instrument through which it came. I was in heaven whenever I sang.
After I learned of Ho'oponopono about a year ago and began practicing it in earnest, my hearing began to improve little by little and l I began using an iPod and headphones to try to see if I could hear and distinguish any musical sounds at all. all Until then, all I had been hearing was random noise!!! I had the finest Hearing Aids made which were Widex Senso Diva. Lo and behold, one day I was able to hear the melodic line of the tenor singing E Lucevan Le Stelle, even though the orchestra was still mush. However I was elated! With continual Ho'oponopono my hearing continued to improve to the point I was no longer eligible for a cochlea implant. Thank you God! Then Widex came out with the Inteo Hearing aid which has a fantastic music program. With it I could hear the orchestra and also with some fullness of sound, though it still was mostly mush.
OK, back to this morning, I turned on the iPod and put on the headphones and got in the recliner and began playing the album I mentioned which began with E Lucevan Le Stelle from the opera Tosca......Oh my god I could hear it so clearly, the voice sounded so natural, the orchestra so clear and full. "what is going on here? " I was back in that heavenly place again and the music just soared while tears of gratitude and joy began streaming down my cheeks, my body almost electrified. Words can't even beging to describe this experience..............
Next aria was Nessun dorma from Turandot, Che'ella mi creda, Recondita armonia , Donna non vidi mai and Addio fiorita asil and more. I listened and cried for over 30 minutes to music I had not been able to hear like this for over 25 years. Actually I have never heard these arias, this music, all favorites of mine which I used to sing, too like I heard them this morning, the voice and the music were more glorious and thrilling than anything I have ever experience either live or in recorded performance.
Thank you to all of you on this forum who have had a huge part in enabling this blessing to come to me this morning.

It is indeed interesting to note that people do get healed ... yes even at old age...
My own sense of smell suddenly improved about 3 years ago ... not that i was 'deaf', smell wise before, but suddenly as if a veil has been lifted - it got to be so much more acute.
During an EFT seminar last month one of the participants , also a woman in he 60th , felt great improvement in her ability to hear...
I am going to attract to me more and more evidence that my affirmation ":The older i get - the better i feel !" is shared by others !!!

jim, your love of music shines thru this post, so much so that I will make a note of the people/pieces you mention and make a point of listening to them myself
and may your blessings multiply.
I am sorry for anything within me that shows up as hearing challenges in the world
how come my hearing is so amazing?

WOW !!!! Thank you Niharika, for sharing such heart touching post and Jimmy for posting it so everyone could experience the joy the emits from your post. Personally I have learned that sharing uplifting moments helps. But recently I was made aware that sharing means you are not only adding to the beautifu energy. Additionally you are doing a Universal service. The moment you share an uplifting moment, thought, the Akashic records make a note of your efforts. The same is true for sharing non-uplifting thoughts. So make a choice and share those uplifting, high-vibrational thoughts and soon your Spiritual bank will be full of blessings, which will translate into Abundance in areas that you desire. I use the hoponopono technique also with my family members, friends. The Good side is that for those moments I am definitely at a higher vibration and have successfully avoided lower vibration !!!
