Congratulations on everyone's success so far...and please, keep the stories and questions coming! They are inspiring and enlightening to everyone...especially us teachers.
No matter how long I work with these astounding energy tools, I'm often astounded at my own amazing successes. We're so entrenched in the "knowledge" that success takes incredibly hard work, a long time, won't come easily...hogwash!
Two years ago I'd purchased a new favorite pair of jeans...a new cut, new company, new fabric...the cut and style were smaller, slimmer, I was told I was going to have to take the bigger size because it was a European fit. I gulped and took the size 8's. This was after I'd begun using EFT and the essential oils to help me loose the weight gained from my neck injury...weight that came on due to medications and being forced into a much more sedentary life. I had already lost 35 pounds, but I must admit this "bigger" size wasn't pleasant...and I was determined to loose the balance and get back to my former self. As I revealed in our Fit and Fabulous class, and I was so happy to share my success...while I still had the last 15 pounds to loose.
When we began our classes this summer, my life had begun to get incredibly busy. And the concept of "easily and effortlessly" became even more attractive. So I decided to review my weight loss support tools - the essential oils and nutritional support I was getting from the Young Living line.
My plan didn't change much, I love the energy and clean feeling I get from their vitamins, minerals and especially the Ningxia Red Juice. But I did switch to Grapefruit Essential oil for my water...and on occassion, because it's amazing in the summer heat, I'd add a drop or two of peppermint. Well, they mean what they say! Grapefruit helps dissolve fat, and supports our bodies in releasing the newley released toxins. Also note that my exercise plan did not change (well, oops except to get a little less than usual with my busier schedule!)
Last week I went back to that same jeans store...and this time I donned a new pair of the latest finish...excited I because they went on came out of the dressing room and asked the clerk her opinion...she was blunt and said "Oh goodness, you can't wear those...they're hideous!"...she came back a few moments later with the SIZE 6!
When I came out of the dressing room she said "Well, you could go with those...but if it were me, I'd grab the SIZE 4!!!!!!"
When they revived me....just kidding...I stood there for a moment and thought about the way I like to feel in my jeans, not just look, and I decided that the Size 6 were perfect, tight enough but not junior high tight.
When I came home, elated and giddy, I realized that I'd finally achieved a HUGE fitness goal: to return to my original healthy size 4 / 6 that I easily maintained before my accident.
It's truly astounding to me to have come to this point in my journey. EFT and essential oils have taken me from in chronic pain, overweight, depressed and miserable to a normal person with no pain except if I actually do something to bring on new pain, returned to my natural body weight, happy and prosperously productive! And by the way...these achievements are in complete opposition to what my doctors told me I could expect.
I'm grateful for their care, but I'm even more grateful to Anisa for her support, enlightenment and guidance...and EFT and essential oils for being the tools that helped me heal myself, and continue to help me support others in their own journey.
The goal now has changed...I've decided to become stronger, more toned, more lean and healthy than I EVER was! I'm excited by my new goals...and I know I'll continue to use the tools I have to help me gain these new goals with ease and grace.
One of the class participants mentioned having used EFT once to not only clear her weight problem even teaching others only to find herself back again dealing with a new weight challenge...and I know we all wonder about the new challenges we face, the patterns we're going to live out, and the chance we have to rebound or slip back.
Frankly, while I think EFT can help us to clear those patterns and blocks, I for one am incredibly encouraged by the fact that I have supportive tools such as simple Grapefruit Essential Oil that I can use to MAINTAIN my success...whenever I see myself inching up, I will address the situation with EFT yes...but I'll also help my body eliminate with that oil and other supportive things rather than wait to have to start over again.
