tithing and prosperity

it was interesting to read the newsletter today as it includes an article on tithing. The day before I had seen an invite to a talk on the BS of tithing...maybe these opposites show up to tell me about 2 aspects of self and their take on this concept of tithing. I have known about tithing for a long time and go in and out of the practice. I am currently tithing and enjoying the fact that I can tithe /feel good about tithing and so on. I also notice that more people are booking sessions with me and current clients have been booking more frequently, and the themes of those sessions are getting more and more delicious. I am also tapping often to remove blocks to prosperity /money flow and all of that.

How are other people on the board sharing their good fortune?

HI Zannie,

I'm so excited for you and your 'experiment'!  How wonderful that you are able to 'see' the results of your generosity and the work you are doing and share it with us.

Tithing has been a challenge for me over the years as well.  There have been times when I would just suddenly 'stop' tithing and sort of selfishly 'tighten' the belt out of some kind of need for security or financial control.  Then of course, I would notice that the WELL that had been flowing so freely was 'drying' up - hmmmmm.... was it related! 
Sure enough, I had to do my own experimenting and YES, everytime I returned to the practice of giving and tithing, I'd return to the flow of abundance. 

I also find that it's important for me to find 'time' to tithe 'time' ... especially now.  The busier I get with business and responsibilities the less time I feel like I have, the more important it is for me to tithe my time (this includes time for family and friends, organizations, and even to myself).  If I don't do this, I start to feel 'time-poverty' and stress.   So.... I'm still working on this one but I SEE the importance and that's the first step, I believe.

I will often get emails from visitors to my site about tithing being BS... 'not necessary', 'old belief', 'doesn't work', 'can't I tithe to myself' etc... but I find that once I ask a few questions, I realize that these questions/comments are coming from seekers who have never tithed from their heart in a committed fashion and therefore simply haven't experienced the magic of a 'tithing high'!
