Greetings, fellow posters,

I started this topic because I love reading successful manifesting stories and the ''recipes'' that were used to achieve the goals. I find them very inspiring and motivating. Also, I was wondering if you could share the ''recipe'' that led to your success.

Personally, I am new to manifesting. I've only been aware of the whole concept for aprox. 1 year and of course I've tried to manifest a few little things and a few huge things but with little success. I've read a few articles that speak about affirmations, visualisation etc. but I'd love to hear your oppinion about which method you think is best or which one led you to achieving your goals.

I, for one, don't really have that many successful manifesting stories except the one on the other topic I started. Oh, and there would be a recent one in which I manifested a dolphin commercial (more like an excercise to see if it works, similar to Anisa's famous hummingbird experiment). So that's why I'd love to hear your story.

Hi Almathea...Well if you manifested a dolphin commercial.....you can manifest anything!  I will have to think about some stories to share and I hope everyone contributes to this post...because I too would enjoy reading what everyone has been cooking up in their cosmic kitchens!   I will be back with a story...but I wanted to bump this post up .....so that it will get the exposure it deserves!

I have a bit of a sore throat and I need some rest......I will be back soon!

Hello Dolphin,

Are you familiar with Louise Hay's book : You can heal your life ?
Towards the end of the book she lists a whole host of physical ailments and the mental reasons for them and a positive affirmation/mantra to alleviate the symptoms.
The throat is such an interesting part of our anatomy as it is situated between the head and the heart, sometimes when the head tells us one thing and the heart wants another ... we feel it in the throat...
The throat too is the passage to and from the stomach ... so by asking yourself : what is it i don't want to take in ,or : what is it i can't bring up...and than applying the affirmation you might experience rapid relief!!!
However , i suspect that you are working too hard !! it doesn't have to be that way....
Patricia craine the writer of the book 'Ordering from the cosmic kitchen' , was my instructor in a Louise Hay seminar 10 years ago , in her book she gives great specific affirmations for attracting prosperity without killing yourself in the process...  :.)

Hi Ronit!  I just love your spunk!  My sore throat is related to work....I froze my A** off yesterday at the winery.  We had an event in what is called "the old barrel wharehouse"  I guess the 'old' relates to NO HEAT! I layered my clothing and wore thick, very thick socks, but my toes and hands were frozen all day. When I got home I went straight to bed and slept for hours and woke up feeling worse.  I am home today and drinking green tea and popping echinacea like nobodys business.....feeling a little better and I may stay in tomoorow...we will see!
Thank you for your words and help.....so   my cosmic kitchenn is cooking up homopathic healing teas to get better and healthy quickly.......I  should be manifesting working less and making more!  Okay.............................................hmmmmm....................lets see...........................I guess I need to affirm this...........

oh....and yes Ronit...I love Louise Hay, I listen to hay house radio often.  I just finished a affirmation calendar that Louise sent me last year.  She is so very positive...I have my favorite affirmations on my fridge.  thy are the ones that just resonated with me the moment I read them and made my day a breeze! 

Also....I do believe there are several things related to the throat.  I know that my throat chakra is a little out of balance ...not because I have not been speaking my truth.....I think I have been a little to honest with some people in my life. However, those were my intentions and I followed through on them.  I do believe that our physical body and related dis-ease comes from not letting out or letting in emotional issues that need to be resolved or laid to rest.  I am a firm believer in this, and I very much look down on western medicine because they feel everything can be healed with drugs....I do not agree.  I truyl believe in my heart that the medical profession of the future will be those who work with the mind, body, and soul.  I also believe that the healing modalities of the future will be sound, color, and light therapy.     

I just bought a color cube yesterday (after freezing all day) made by HoMedics and I have been using it today.   It is on my night stand aimed right at my pillow wherer I lay my head. It s beautiful and soothing and I am playing aroung with the different modes.

Desiree here. I promised you a story about a succesful maifestation.....and I am a woman of my word, so here goes....

As you know from the above post, I have not been feeling well.  I have been home in bed the last few days.  Today I really needed to finish a job in a city about 75 miles away from where I live.  When I woke up this morning I asked and affirmed that I would have the energy to get out of bed, shower, unload my car and re-load it with the project materials needed for today.  I did get everything done and was ready to hit the road.  I WAS exhausted already, I am just not up to par....I usually have so much energy that if I bottled it and sold it...I would be set for life!   However, the Universe had given me the enrgy to do what I had asked so I got in my car and headed south.  While I was driving I asked the Universe to PLEASE go easy on me today.   I asked that when I arrive to this store, that everything happen according to plan...but PLEASE go easy on me  today, because I am using everything I have to make this trip.  After asking for this....I let it go...listened to my Van Morrison CD and just enjoyed my drive.   WELL..GUESS WHAT?
I arrived to the store, unloaded the project kit (it weighed about 60) along with my tools and went into to get the job done.
But there was a problem....the re-set I needed to do would not work in this store.  I had already done 6 of these sets and this store was COMPLETELY different from the other 6 stores.   At first I kind of freaked out because I drove all this way. But then I remebered that in my contract if the job can not be completed because of store refusal or store problems....I STILL GET PAID! This was definitely a store problem!   So I got an AREA Manager to sign off my paper work. He was so kind.  I did get the product on the floor, but I did not have to do the entire reset, I didn't have to use my tools...I did not even break a sweat........!!!!   So the Universe went VERY EASY on me. I got more than I asked for.  I  faxed my paperwork, took some picture of the problems, got in my car and drove to the nearest Chinese resturant.....and ate the best dang mandarin chicken and fried rice ......opened up and ate my fortune cookie (I just love those fortunes) and then  headed back home!
I AM so blessed!   Thank you God and thank you angels!

Now....I am sitting here in my bed with my laptop....nice and warm and cozy.....and feeling A LOT better and sharing this success story!   LIFE is GOOD!

You girls.....I just love you!  It is so nice to wake up and know that I have such wonderful friends!   I am so very blessed!
Ronit....thank you so much for your inspiration..and I was feeling a little bummed when I had not seen you on the board....but then out of no where...you appeared.....I used the LOA....    and Almathea.....I can not wait to hear your SUCCESS story and I know that you are working on something big......so I will stay tuned in, as always. Thank you darling for your beautiful words!   I love that "you go girl" attitude!!!!!   Also, I am so glad to hear you signed up for the Daily Om....I have ben receiving daily messages for over 2 years...and I have to tell you.......the articles are written so beautifully and I know without a doubt every message has changed the way I view the world and has assisted me in my life transformation....(i.e. re-membering who I Am) . I use much of the  information in my ministry......it is all GOOD!

Mantra: Today I shall attract whatever the Universe has in store for me that aligns me with the highest good for myself and those around me!   So it is said and so it shall be!

Ronit...What did I get backwards?? 

So...today the Universe delivered a little surprise................$50 on a lottery scratch off.....whoooo hooooo...........so I went to the grocery store on my way home and bought some comfort food for the evening...and of course my pumpkin spice coffee creamer (it was on sale for $1.19....during the holidays it was almost $4 a bottle!) so I bought 2! Life is GOOOOOOD!    I also had another check in the mail!   I know that Universe is helping me  meet all my needs and I will be able to pay all my bills on time and in perfect order!  This is so, and I have NO DOUBT!  I am having an awesome 2007 and it is only going to get better!  I AM healthy, wealthy, and wise!   YES I AM!  I am so grateful for everything in my life.  Gratitude is the key!  I see everything in perfect divine order!
and I am feeling a whole lot better....this morning was a little tough...but once I was up and moving I started to feel better minute by minute....thank you God...and Archangel Raphael!

Your mantra assumes that the universe is sitting on a cloud with a plan for you... i think it is the other way around .

Okay.......let me rephrase that ...I shall RECEIVE whatever the Universe has in store for me.  I trust in my intuitive nature...and I  do have faith in the Universe.  There is a plan in the clouds, and it is divnine, and I trust in this plan.  I ask for what I desire and I know without a doubt that it will be delivered. I ALSO except what is given to me, because  there are many rewards that come to us through the Law of cause and effect and the Law of Grace.  You put out good...and good comes back..10 fold.  This is Karma. So I, Desiree am receiving the GOOD of the Universe....and I AM in alignment with this vibration.  I am accepting it with love and in return I recycle that love and goodness  back into the Universe.   I set no expectations... I just have faith.  This is where  miracles take place.  I live every day in gratitude....and see the blessings of ALL THAT IS!

Today, I Desiree shall continue to shine my love and light on Humanity.  I ask God and the angels to bless every soul, and infuse our spirit with remembering who we are and why we are here. I will attract whatever the Universe has in store for me, by RECEIVING
openly this goodness.  It is my divine birthright!   So it is said and so it shall be! Amen Amen Amen

so which way is it ? the plan in the clouds delivers all good/bad things, or focusing and allowing them ?

Ronit..this is my belief...I believe there is a BIGGER PLAN.  We can either accept it or we can go about thinking we can control the Universe.  I do not believe that we can control...however, I do believe that when we are open to the possibilites...this is when we can  attract and receive what  we are asking for.  It is a divine dance, co-creating in harmony with our Source.  So how can it be both ways? Well...simply stated it works both ways.  When we understand the essence of who we truly are and we do not have 'limiting'beliefs in the way the cosmos work, then we are in the Universal flow.  This is when we understand that sometimes what we ask for is not in alignment with what the Universe has in store for us or has in our best interest, or there is something better!  This is the LAW OF ALLOWING. This is where 'trust" is a magical force.  By not allowing, we then go through the lessons or initiations, so to speak. We can label these lessons good or we can label them bad.  That  is simply a matter of what ego  perceives to be good or bad. 

Then there is  the law of karma (cause and effect) .  For every action, there is a reaction.    It doesn't take a rocket scientest to figure out that if you go around picking fights or stealing or harming another( and this includes the animal/mineral/plant kingdom) in any way...this is -of course bad.  There will always be repercussions.  Just take a look at the condition of our Planet.   In our  world of duality(3rd dimension living)....actions do speak louder than thoughts or words. On the other hand if we treat others, the planet etc, with love and compassion, or live by the golden rule, if you will, then we are creating white karma (GOOD), and we will see the effect of that, through the GIFTS AND REWARDS that are bestowed upon us.  (We meaning both individual and collective souls).  So there can be good or bad as perceived by ego(experiences, lessons, situations)or there is good or bad that falls in the laws of cause and effect(good and bad actions and reactions).  Regardless, WE create  the good and bad in either case. It is the GOOD that aligns us with Spirit. This is what we mean when we say.."I feel good".  We are aligned with our HIGHEST GOOD.  We are in sync with our Source. We are divine co-creators. We are one with our Creator.

Okay...now  the lessons. There are going to be times that we do not understand why things are happening. It could be something we have attracted, and again maybe not.  It could be that we have not allowed and trusted in the workings of the Universe.
whatever the reason, it is simply how we deal with the situation  or work through it, which is the real lesson and that is obvious in the outcome.  The other important thing is that when we do go through what we perceive as challenging times, we have to refrain from falling into the victim role.  I can not tell you how many times I have been through lessons that put me into that mode, the 'pitty party' syndrome, the 'poor me'.... you know what I am talking about.  Here is the beauty of it. I now see WHY I went through certain lessons, and how they were absolutely necessary for my SOUL GROWTH.  Did I attract some of those things? Absolutley. On the other hand, I can say that there were things that I DID NOT attract, but  the lessons were absolutely needed, for me at that time.  And 9 times out of 10, those lessons were the ones that had HUGE blessings in disguise.  So, the plan in the cloud, was for a reason.  I did not see it at first, but then I could not miss it ..once I understood that there was something bigger and better in the works.  Now,  I could have missed it, if I had let my ego keep leading me.  This is how I learned to listen and function from spirit, and it took many lessons (43 years of them) just to GET IT and I am still learning!   I  have learned  that ego can and will deem things bad...instantly. ( I am not trying to give ego a bad rap....but it can forget what it's purpose is!)  I always go back and review a lesson.  The first question is : What was this lesson about? Then... Did I attract this, or how did I attract this, was I not allowing, was I not trusting, was ego leading....so on so forth.
Sometimes it may take weeks to figure it out..and sometimes the lesson from the lesson is INSTANT! I love it when that happens!
I wonder if that is where John Lennon got his "instant karma" inspiration??

   

My point here is.....when we pay attention to Spirit, function from spirit (not ego), understand and LIVE by the Universal Laws (all of them) we move into  alignment with Spirit,  then this is where we are able to focus and allow. This is where we are able to ask and receive with open and loving arms. This is where we seek and find the good in the perceived bad. This is where we can detatch from what is not serving our highest good. THIS IS WHERE WE SEE THE BLESSINGS...THE SILVER LINING!  This is the magical space.  It is in this space, that we understand that WE are beings with unlimited potential ...in other words We are re-membering who we are, and why we incarnated here in the first place. We are getting it! We are awakening.  We are functioning from the right side of the brain.  IT IS ALL part of the plan in the clouds.  And everything is happening right on schedule. In divine order, in divine timing and in divine perfection. The Universe does not make mistakes. It is a wonderful time to be alive.
