Question about Law of Reciprocity

My big manifestation right now is my dream job. What I do not get is how do I "give away" my dream job? I don't get how the Law of Reciprocity would work in this situation.

Hello Starlet~

Congrats on creating and attracting your dream job.   The Law of Recprocity...basically is when you receive...you give ....or when you give you receive.  You don't have to give away anything...but when you GIVE, this law says you will receive back...and it can be three to ten fold.   So, when manifesting your dream job, just keep the vibration that when you  receive it, you will reciprocate in a way that feels true to you.  Maybe the person whom hired you, you will show your gratitude by sending a nice thank you card..(which should be the second one....the first card thanking for the interview!)  and of course these are examples.  There are so many ways to give back.  You probaly are giving in many different ways all through out your day...so just remember....opening a door for an elderly person or helping a disabled person load groceries or whatever it may be......this is how this law works......  When we give of ourselves freely ...in a loving way, that energy is returned to us.  It is an immutable law.
You scratch my back and I will scratch yours.....is another way to understand this law.

oh and one of my pet peeves.......putting the shopping cart back in the shopping cart area!  When I made this a habit(many many years ago)....I quit getting shopping cart dings in my car......and so did everyone else that parked around me!   (thought I would throw this in for a simple example!)  THE UNIVERSE DOES PAY ATTENTION!

I give all the time and don't realize it, its so natural. I'm the one who stops and lets the pedestrian cross the street at the corner where I have to stop sign or light, or holding the door open for someone, or offering to take pictures of a couple who are on vacation when they are at the beach. Plus the countless people I've directed towards learning about the Law of Attraction, after they see how much my life has changed in under a year. Just wanted to make sure it was not overly specific, eye for an eye but in a good way!

Although, the person who gives me my dream job, I am naming my firstborn of that sex after him or her, I'm not kidding. That is how much I love this field, my passion is for this industry, and I know like I know like I know this career path is why I chose to come to Earth this time around. I'd do this job for free gladly (I already have done so in the past), and it excites me everytime I talk about it, think about it or see or hear anything related to it anywhere.

And I know its close, I spend most of my day thinking about it without purposely directing my thoughts towards it, the thoughts just pop into my head with happy emotions attatched. We just have the most horrible traffic on the 101 and 5 freeways, poor job is just stuck in traffic. Hope it has XM radio to listen to!

You already have this Law mastered!  I too...give to others without thinking.  I do not expect a reward..but they are always there!
Just yesterday I was pumping gas (at $3.20 a gallon...ughhh!) and a man approached me and he had a gas can and asked if I could help him out.  I told him when I was done pumping I would fill up his can...just have it ready for me to put the nozzle in it.  So I filled it up for him.  However....I did say to him that he needs to turn around and do a good deed for someone else.....pay it forward.  He looked at me like "Who is this woman?".....but in all honesty I felt good about doing what I did...all day long.  It put me at a higher vibration which made my long day at work seem effortless!

In regard to your passion and dream job....sitting in traffic can be an incredible time for creative processing!  I drive alot and this is when I set many of my intentions.  It really works for me.  I have been so blessed lately....I like you,  am manifesting my dream job that serves my life purpose and doing what makes my heart sing.  In the last month the Universe has been connecting me with those beings that are ultimately bringing all of this to fruition! They are coming to me in miraculous ways.  It is so WONDERFUL!

It sounds like you live here in California.....Hwy 101 and 5...or somewhere here on the west coast! I am in the central valley of Cali.

Yep, San Diego right now, but I do a lot of driving in Orange and LA counties.

dolphindream - I love your story about the gas can (side note - UGH about the $3.20 a gallon!!)!  After reading one of Wayne Dyer's books, I think it was the Intention one, (and, of course, seeing the PIF movie) where he mentions how one of his daughters routinely pays the 10 cent or whatever toll for the person behind her and how it affects her life positively, I started doing small things like that.  I especially love it when I'm in the drive-thru at Dunkin Donuts and I see a pissed off looking person behind me, I love to drive up and pay for my order and their order also.  It always gives me the warm fuzzies and makes my entire day, plus the D&D person is changed a bit for the better for the day just being involved in the whole thing.  I must mention that it's like a little game to me what I can do for people - just small little things.  I had someone offer to take my shopping cart back to the store for me as they were going in, and I was shocked, and then I realized that wow, that was such a cool, and free!, thing to do for someone!

Nice to see you Insidechange!   Yes when we do things, just do do it, and help  make a difference in someones day or even LIFE....it is a beautiful thing!  It is even more fun to do something for someone...who is grumpy or just seems to be hating life.  That little something brightens that divine spark in them....and this is really what it is all about.

ps....I read Dr. Dyers books....really liked "Inspiration, Your Ulitmate Calling"...I just loved the chapter about the butterfly...toooo cool!

dolphindream - That story about the butterfly was awesome, wasn't it?  I find Dyer a little annoying at times, but I still read him, and that was just the coolest story!  And very cool that that was the same butterfly on the front of the book!
