It can be terribly disappointing to see very little 'results' when you're trying so hard to be positive and use affirmations.

In today's Quick Manifesting Morsel, I address the core issue related to the question, "Why doesn't the Law of Attraction work for me?"

I'm a very positive person - but the Law of Attraction isn't helping me?!?! How do I make it work?

Q: "My writing to you is with hope for an uplifting response
or suggestion.

For decades I have embarked on reading and listening to the
works of many inspirational and motivational people:
Napoleon Hill, George Clayson, Zig Ziggler, Og Mandino,
Andrew Carnegie, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Bob Proctor, Wallace
Wattles, Kazu Inamori, Gay Hendricks, Mark Joyner and many
more.

I am an optimistic and high-energy positive person. I
always apply much of the wonderful informative material I
learn to further enhance upon my life and career. I even
have two of your CD's and The Secret.

So, with all the energy I positively put forth in thought,
meditation, exercises and visualization what could I
possible do more of or different to improve my financial and
career situation that has taken a huge downward (3 year)
nose dive. I have been ultimately challenged and continue
to pursue. Yet, I am at my wits end. which has induced me to
sell possessions and increase credit card usage to support
my family.

The question is - "why haven't I created more of what I
want, with all this positive energy I've been dishing out
for so many years?"

Optimism is a very powerful attractor. Being a 'high-
energy' person can also be positively creative. However,
these two traits alone do not create magic and miracles if
we have acidic doubts sabotaging our positive intentions.

What lies beneath the surface, lurking subliminally in
between positive optimistic moments are the incessant,
habitual and toxic memories of our past failures,
rejections, and disappointments.

We may believe that we are an optimistic person, but the
hidden fears and doubts continue to sabotage the vibratory
power of our intentions.

For example, if we were taught as children that 'money
doesn't grow on trees', then optimism isn't enough to
counteract that limiting belief and attract a winning
lottery ticket.

We can say thousands of affirmations and it may feel like it
will never be enough, if underneath those power phrases we
have a lingering but solid doubt that 'this stuff doesn't
work for me'!

Within the question, "what more can I do?" resides the
vibratory relationship to the doubts that I'm referring to.

In the innocent question, "what am I doing wrong?" rests the
assumption that negatively propels and exalts the
vibrational essence of failure, inadequacy, and
incompetence.

Even though most of the time you may be saying things like,
"I am healthy, wealthy, and wise" and "I am rich, rich,
rich" and "I am a powerful creator", if the subconscious
fear is that you are simply incapable of mastering your own
power, then you will be.

Now, let me contradict myself with an Abraham Quote:

"Those old habits don't have to be erased, they just become
replaced by a new habit that is more in vibrational harmony
with who you are and what you want." - Abraham through Jerry

At the essence of our being is the Truth that we are already
harmoniously aligned with all that we desire; that we were
born Divine and with access to unlimited wealth, health,
beauty and joy simply because we were born. This is the
Truth of our being and therefore, it is not necessary for us
to EARN anything. We simply have to open up to the nature
of who we really are; accept that our source and supply is
endless and immediate, all-providing, never-failing and
internal and it will be so.

This Truth allows us to skip over any requirement to 'get
rid of those old toxic beliefs and doubts'. This is a
beautiful Truth and one worthy of further exploration,
study, and meditation.

However, tell a dreamer that's never been on the slopes that
they have the ability to win a gold medal snowboarding in
the next Winter Olympics just because they were born
unlimited and see how many are actually capable of believing
in this enough to make it happen!?!?

The caveat to our Divine Nature is that we accept with
absolute certainty that it is SO, in order for it to appear
as this in our lives.

Yes, we can turn water into wine! But, if you show up at my
house for dinner and I don't have the Merlot or Riesling
that you prefer, my honey will be taking his cute little
behind down to the local wine shop to purchase it for you.
This, in my home, is simply more in alignment with our path
of least resistance. In other words, it's easier for me to
create wine, if I'm willing to pick it up at the store!

Thus, depending on what you want to create in your world, it
may be easier for you to create wealth, if you are willing
to go get a job or start your own business. It may be
easier for you to attract your ideal mate, if you are
willing to let the opposite sex know you're available and on
the market by engaging in dating and single's events*.

If you are wondering why it's not working for you, then rest
assured that the answer lies in the question itself.

The law of attraction operates universally and without bias.
It is operating right now on the essence of 'why doesn't it
work for me'. The translation of the vibrational essence
is: "This doesn't work for me." And, therefore it doesn't.

What we believe to be true becomes true for us. When we
want BIG things but we have BIG doubts, it takes longer to
manifest those things.

In my life, there are creations that I'm still working on
(Freedom and a swim suit body), creations that have taken me
more than a decade to bring about (wealth) and creations
that have taken me more than a year to create (great
health).

The more I have at stake and the more limiting beliefs I
have to overcome to attract these conditions, the longer it
takes me to use the power of my mind. This is just me, it's
not t the 'Truth' for everyone but it may very well be the
way it is for you, right now.

Of course, there are creations that occur naturally and
immediately every day for me, as well.

Did you hear my story of the instant Peanut Butter? Well,
this one was an instant creation because I had ZERO
attachment and all kinds of fun emotions. Ashlyn, my peanut
butter (no jelly) sandwich girl, cannot live without peanut
butter. So, one morning when we were out of PB, she had a
serious breakdown and terrible moment of despair!

I, attempting to lift the moment from one of great
catastrophe, said, "Oh, Universal Mind - Please send me some
peanut butter for my starving child. She really, really,
really wants peanut butter, now! Peanut butter, peanut
butter, oh god of great peanut butter, please hear our
prayers and deliver to us Peanut Butter!"

She laughed and I laughed and we made her some cereal
instead. They made it to the bus on time and I went about
my day. About two hours later I hear a knock on my door.
It's my very thoughtful (and obviously well connected to the
peanut-butter-God) neighbor with three (not one, not two but
three!) jars of unopened peanut butter.

"Do ya'll like peanut butter at your house?"

I laughed, accepted the gifts from the Gods and put this in
my victory log.

The truth is that the freedom I desire, the swimsuit body
that I agonize towards and every other thing that I want -
is already mine and is as easy to create as the peanut
butter, IF I were capable of accepting this as my Truth
right now.

In the mean time, until I obtain pure belief of my
unlimitedness, I intend to continue releasing my limiting
beliefs as I catch them. I intend to continue to use the
mind tricks like gratitude, forgiveness, vibration
elevation, and tools such as guided meditation, EFT, essential oils and any other tool I can find to continue to uplift my vibration and re-train my mind into fully accepting and embracing my greatness.

If 'it's not working for you' then start using the tools you
have at your disposal to slowly but surely dispose of this
belief. You may only create jars of peanut butter at first,
but with enough persistence and course correction, you will
eventually create the love, success, and joy you want as
well.
