Here's a manifesting story for you...

Allow me to share a personal ‘icky' manifesting story with you…

Years ago, I put my attention upon manifesting a great home to rent. I wrote down my list of all the requirements that I had for a home: a great yard, a private street, close to a park, comfortable and quiet neighbors, within my budget, convenient to my stomping grounds, roomy and probably another 25 or 30 elements.

Well, within 40 days, I had found the perfect home. It had all the critical elements and many of the nice additions that made it just perfect in so many ways. I moved in and loved it until I realized that it was infested by the oldest surviving species on the planet, cockroaches.

I exterminated and exterminated, but the cockroach survivors returned. It seemed as though, the more I exterminated and fought the little nasty creatures the more determined they became to prove that this was their home and not mine!

Finally, I decided that they had won and I had to move to get away from them. I stopped fighting and started visualizing my next home. On moving day, as I was looking around with glee that I was finally the victor over the cockroaches, it suddenly dawned on me that I hadn't seen a cockroach in weeks. I had been so busy focusing on ‘living in a comfortable, clean, sanitary' environment elsewhere that I had neglected to notice that I had actually already manifested it exactly where I was!

I share this icky story, because it's the perfect illustration for how we manifest ALL of our experiences in life. The more I resisted the pests, the more they proliferated. When I let it go and put my attention upon what I was wanting instead, the easier it was for the experience that I was really wanting to come into my life right then and there.
