My Personal Top 6 Goals for Life

Category: law of attraction — Anisa @ 1:02 pm

There are sacred planning tasks that I do daily. (If you missed last week’s daily, weekly, monthly and yearly plan, visit here.)

- Top 6 Goals for Life

- Primary Focus Goals

- My ToDo List and God’s Todo List

- Victory Log and Gratitude Journal

- 3-minutes (minimum) of EFT

Many of you asked if I would share my Top 6 Goals for life, as an example.  Before you read them (below) I feel it’s important to address the REASON I write these SAME goals down daily, without fail.

There’s power, leverage, and continuity in repetition.

“Repetition of the same thought or physical action develops
into a habit which, repeated frequently enough, becomes an
automatic reflex.”-
Norman Vincent Peale quotes (American
Protestant Clergyman and Writer, 1898-1993)

What do I mean by Power?

When we focus upon what we want in a consistent and
committed manner, we harness the power of the Universal
Laws.  The Law of Attraction is always operating according
to our most dominant vibration in THIS moment.  No matter
what happened yesterday or last month or last year, when we
speak affirmatively about what we INTEND to achieve today -
we reset our vibration.  We wipe the slate clean AND all of
those previous positive intentions are now clamoring to join
forces with today’s renewed vision of lifetime achievement.

The more frequently you ‘reset’ your vibration the larger
this orb of positive intention becomes.  The larger your
vibrational force-field the more magnetic and therefore the
faster your dreams are fulfilled.

What do I mean by Leverage?

When my vibration around what I want to achieve has actually become a habitual cloak of
comforting intention, the big Universe responds dynamically
and quickly to support me with this goal. My Top 6 Goals are
now such an intimate part of my life, as integral as the
marvelous taste-buds on my tongue and the functional
knuckles on my fingers.

Before I can proceed with any decision or action, my
subconscious mind compares ‘this action’ with my ‘Top 6
goals’ and instantly the action is either fueled or thwarted
based on whether or not the action is aligned or mal-aligned
respectively.

Thus, when an action feels difficult, bothersome, or more
challenging that it ’should be’,  I assume (almost
automatically now) that it must not be aligned and
therefore, I need to table this until it is aligned.

I no longer have to know why the traffic isn’t moving or why
the customer care didn’t pick up my call, or why my email
didn’t make it to the intended party or any other previously
perceived inconvenience.  I know with certainty that when
something occurs it’s because the Universe has my back!  The
Big U is leveraging my time and attention for me, so that I
do not have to!  My only job is to relax into the flow and
direct my current intentions to alignment, faith, trust,
detachment, and listening to my inner guidance.

What do I mean by continuity?

Imagine for a moment that you’ve decided to have a
spectacular dinner party in honor of a very special person
in your life.  You share this with your friend and the two
of you celebrate in mutual love, excitement and
appreciation.   Then, you promptly go about your day. The
next week, your friend says, “so when’s my party?”  You say,
“Oh, I don’t know… how about in December”.

Then, you promptly go about your life, only to be reminded
in late November that you haven’t asked for an invitation
list!  Then you realize not only do you not have the guest
list, the invitations, the party room, the food, the
decorations or anything else – now you no longer have the
time to pull it off at all!

So, you put it off… again, and then again… until finally
your friend gives up on you and you feel terrible for having
procrastinated something so important.

This is exactly what happens to most people’s BIG Dreams!

Many people might write down their top 6 goals ONCE in a
lifetime (if that.) Others will attend a workshop and get
super-jazzed about their new commitment to their life goals.
They may even revisit these goals daily for a while, then it
will turn to weekly, and then monthly.  The next thing they
know they are blowing the dust off an old book shelf, and
find the journal with those goals again.  They feel saddened
or even ashamed as they consider the lost time and
opportunities as they realize their dreams never even made
it to the starting gate.

And, just like the party that never happens, they get to the
end of their life and realize they forgot about all the
things they said they wanted to do, be, and have.

By choosing to write down your TOP 6 Goals for Life every
day – your inner guide will NOT allow you to forget to plan
the party!  Your inner guide will start to shout loudly and
throw fabulous little temper tantrums if you don’t start
doing what you say you want to do! It’s wonderful! I love
hearing that inner prompt that says, “Hey!?!  Wake up – you
said you wanted this.  Now, go out and do something bold to
get it!?!” Now, as promised, here are my Top 6 Goals for
Life that I write down (or some assemblance thereof) daily:

Let me answer TWO questions (that I know will come up for
some of you) before you read my example below:

But, this will take too long if I do this every day!?

If you have 3 minutes, you can write your Top 6 Goals for
Life down every day!  When I only have a few minutes, I
write the shorter version.  A few times a month, however,
I’ll write out a full page on each one just to give the
intention more power and focus.  Do what works for you and
remember to mix-it-up whenever you need to!

Do I write them in future or present tense?

Write you goals/intentions in present or past tense.  This
allows you to become more aware of the subconscious tugs
that indicate you are not yet a believer of your dreams (and
you can now EFT that!)

1: My Parenting Goal

Shorter Version:

I choose to be an outstanding mother; conscious, loving,
aware, attentive and mindful! I support my children in
becoming spiritual, conscious creators who honor their
heart’s calling, fulfill their purpose and become
courageous, loving, self-regulating and happy, contributing
adults.

Longer Version:

I am a conscious, loving, aware, patient, kind, spiritual,
mindful, embracing, uplifting, supportive mom.  I am
constantly becoming a better parent.  I am open and willing
to grow, and to become the best parent that I am capable of
becoming.  I am constantly receiving Divine Guidance as to
how to parent from the heart, and how to nurture my
children’s self-esteem.  Divine inspiration flows through me
and I respond with love to my children’s needs.  I
discipline appropriately, and I act with the highest level
of patience and peacefulness at all times.  I give love,
affection, attention, and unconditional acceptance to my
children every minute of every day.

I transcend my own insecurities, and ego-self and easily
embrace my children as perfect children of God, living and
growing into their own beings of love. I am grateful to be
raising children that are absolutely confident, and know
that they are worthy of total love, and acceptance exactly
as they are.  I am grateful that my children easily
communicate their needs and that I listen with an open heart
and an open mind – always. I am inspired, and committed to
live the ideal example of peace, love, harmony, wisdom,
purpose, and prosperity consciousness.  My children witness
this ideal and easily take this on as their truth as well.
I am grateful to be raising Divinely Protected, happy,
spiritual, self-regulating, healthy, children that grow into
educated, contributing, conscious adults who fulfill their
life purpose and live Divine lives of happiness, joy, peace
and prosperity.  My children are Divinely protected, under
grace at all times, and I am at Peace with this truth.  I
love being a fabulous mom, and I am grateful.

Goal 2: Spiritual Enlightenment and Living Full Out.

Shorter Version:

I am aligned with Spiritual Enlightenment and I choose to
live full-out!
In everything that I do, I seek God first.  I embrace the
Truth that God and my awareness of the Divine Within is the
Source and Supply of all things.

Longer Version:

I relax in this knowledge and give thanks for the impermeable and omnipotent Presence
of God that is right now, right where I am.  I seek first
the Kingdom of Heaven within.  I seek first the mental and
spiritual knowingness that all is well, all the time.  I am
at one with the Divine. I am eternally grateful that the
Truth about the nature of life and my reality seeks me.  I
am open and willing to grow, evolve, and to learn.  I am
open to enlightenment now.  I courageously and boldly follow
the Inner Guidance, discerning between positive flow and
fearful doubts.  I choose to follow the positive flow with
absolute certainty that the Divine is within and always at
my side.

I choose to live honorably and emotionally mature.  I will
be loving, kind, considerate, forgiving, and compassionate,
especially when the situation might be justified otherwise.

I will seek laughter, joy, fun and adventure in both the
everyday moments and by living full-out.

I am tenacious and I never give up.  I choose to apply
spiritual leverage, consciously and intentionally creating
through first the power of the Divine Within.  I intend to
master the power of the mind and became a masterful
conscious creator.

I courageously and boldly seize opportunities and follow
them through to completion.

I intend to walk my talk by praying, forgiving, meditating,
consciously creating, and holding the vision of a better
world daily.

Goal 3: Relationship

Shorter version:

I am a loving, generous, and supportive partner!  My relationship is passionate, filled with laughter, flexibility, unconditional acceptance and life-affirming love.

Longer Version:

I am a conscious and loving partner for my honey!  I am
grateful to be in this relationship, and to have the love of
my life.  I am aware, and absolutely appreciative of the
sacrifices that he has made in order to be an awesome father
to our family, and I show my appreciation and gratefulness
daily.  I am constantly in tune with my fears, insecurities,
and baggage and I gracefully embrace this awareness, and
immediately place my attention on love.  I place my
attention on what my heart desires, which is always to
experience absolute love, and unconditional acceptance of
the two of us.  I know that we are always doing the very
best we can, in any given moment and I am at peace with this
now and always.  I am grateful to now experience peace and
harmony in our relationship.  I am joyous to have total
passion and consistent connection.  I am grateful to now
have peaceful, uplifting, easy communication and to
experience understanding and acceptance at all times.   I
embrace our differences and choose to love him exactly as he
is.  I am forgiving, tolerant, accepting and loving and this
allows us to grow our love for one another in a safe,
healthy environment.  My children witness what a healthy,
loving, kind, considerate, mature, ideal relationship looks
like by our example, and every day, in every way we grow
more and more committed, and connected in our goals and our
love for one another.

I now release any and all habits, thoughts, beliefs,
insecurities, fears and baggage that I no longer need.  I am
willing to never argue again.  I am willing to be wrong.  I
am willing to be committed to this relationship, and the
total nurturing and strengthening of the bonds between us. I
am willing to love him no matter what, and to express this
love before disapproval or anger.  I release any and all of
my need to be right, and instead I choose to be happy.  I am
tolerant and communicative, and I refuse to get plugged in
any longer to whatever might be going on with my honey, that
might take me away from my commitment to stay connected, and
be loving.  Instead of allowing my “buttons” to be pushed, I
take a deep breath, make a conscious choice about what I
want, and easily and effortlessly choose love, respect,
peace, and harmony.  I communicate gracefully, and lovingly,
and our relationship grows stronger, and stronger.  I am
grateful to now have the highest and best relationship.  We
are Divine Life Partners and I am grateful now.

Goal 4 & 5: Prosperity and Purpose

Shorter Version:

I make a profound difference fulfilling my
life’s work.  My life is meaningful and I am proud to say
that made a difference on this planet. I am grateful to have
achieved my lifetime goal of living on 10% of my income and
giving away 90%.

Longer Version:

I am grateful to now be blessed with the resources, support
system, time, energy, and money to easily manifest my
dreams. I am grateful to be inspired to Divine Right Action,
and to take action in a focused, consistent, timely,
committed fashion.  I am grateful to have spirit on my side
and to be living my life purpose.  I embrace my business
with a passion, and intensity that has propelled me to total
success.  I am a successful, prosperous, respected, sought-
after speaker, writer, author, and businesswoman.  This
success has allowed me to touch many lives and to make a
difference.

I welcome the opportunity to help and support others while I
am open to receiving the help and support I require as well.
I invite, attract, and expect conscious business partners,
prosperous minded support and spiritually minded students
into my business and give thanks for our mutual rewards.

I am grateful that my holdings receive in excess of $XXXXK
per month.  With these funds and other resources, people,
and creative opportunities, I’m equipped to expand the views
of Spiritual Activists everywhere.  I am a beacon of light
and the message that we can heal our planet intentionally
and consciously evolve has become a reality.

2012 was the year of Global Conscious Transformation
Evolution.  I am so thrilled to have been a part of this
transformation.

I am inspired to write, and my writing improves with every
word.  I am divinely guided and spirit speaks to me as I
type, inspiring me with the Divine Right words, and
inspiration to express my message with great clarity, and
profound articulation.   Others read my writing, and are
inspired to greatness.  My book jumps out onto the pages
with great ease and expert, gifted, efficient, and literate
grace.   The right timing is upon me and I am inspired to
write daily.  I am inspired to express my message, and am
grateful to now be writing daily, and passionate about
finding more time to write.  This is my year, and I embrace
and accept my calling.

I gracefully and easily accommodate in total comfort the
expansion necessary to handle my business and personal
growth.  The tools, resources, means and time required to
process the expansion that is now underway was always within
reach, just when I needed it to be.

One of my older Top 6 Goals looked like this, before I
combined 4 &5 together as Prosperity and Purpose:

I am Prosperous! I am grateful to now have a net worth in
excess of   XXXXXXX dollars!  I embrace the Divine order of
my prosperity, and welcome my millions into my life now.  I
am a giving, generous mulit-millionaire, and I gratefully
enjoy all the fruits of my prosperity.  I graciously and
easily accept my lavish prosperity as my Divine Birth right
and share my wealth in ways that support, and help our world
to become a better place.  I am grateful to have plenty to
spare and to share.  I am grateful to be easily committed to
tithing and I give away consistently 10% of any and all of
my income.  I am connected to the Divine stream of wealth,
and prosperity- lavish prosperity- grows and flows
constantly into my life.  My prosperity grows daily, and
with every day, I become more and more wealthy.  I attract
multiple streams of income and am at peace with total
prosperity now.  I release any and all limiting beliefs that
no longer serve me, and I graciously and gratefully move
forward, free to attract total wealth now.

Goal 6: Physical Fitness

Shorter version:

I am physically fit, energetic, and healthy all the
days of my life.

Longer version:

I am physically fit, and am grateful to have been blessed
with optimal metabolism and my ideal weight all the days of
my life. I love my body, and am constantly inspired to eat
healthy, exercise daily, and to take great care of myself. I
am inspired to work out daily and it feels wonderful. I love
being active, energetic, and physically fit (in the best
shape of my life).  I have ample time, energy, and
commitment to remain focused on my health goals and I am
proud of myself.  I am beautiful, and I take great care of
myself.  I am firm and trim and flexible.  I actually feel
like I’m getting younger every day as my energy surpasses
even my own expectations! My physical fitness improves every
day, and I am totally and completely healthy, flexible,
strong, and fit!  I am grateful to love my body and to be my
ideal weight now and always!

Take some time to find YOUR Top 6 goals for life and start
writing down at least the short version every day.  See what
happens in a month and if your life doesn’t transform in
positive ways!

Making Goals Important Enough to Actually Achieve

Category: law of attraction — Anisa @ 2:11 pm

Here’s my SACRED Goal-setting ritual… it’s a regimen but ‘in a good way’!

DAILY: Do the following EVERY Day.

Top 6 Goals for Life
You can identify these goals by answering the question,
“When I’m on my death bed (at 132) and I’m looking back on
my life, if I have accomplished these top 6 goals then I
will have lived a meaningful life that made a difference.”
These top 6 goals are actually the materialization of your
values.
I write these goals down every day (Yes – every day!)
because nothing that I do matters if it’s not in alignment
with these top 6 goals. These guiding goals are the
foundation upon which all of my activities must be based.
Otherwise, I’m just living by default and not-on-track!
This intention supports me in knowing when I’m ‘off-target’
and when I need to course correct, say no, re-align, and/or
keep going.

Primary Focus Goals

Choose 2 to 3 goals (maximum) and put forth your full
attention upon these objectives until they are fulfilled. I
journal and seriously consider these goals daily. Taking
daily, inspired action towards these primary focus goals on
a consistent, daily basis will propel you to success. These
goals get full living visions each and every day.

My ToDo list and God’s ToDo list

This is an Abraham exercise that is simply indispensable.
This list includes any item that you have on your plate
right now; from returning calls and emails, to praying for a
friend, to writing thank you notes, to picking up the dry-
cleaning to manifesting a million dollars for your new
business venture. You have two columns on your ToDo list,
your side (left) and God’s side (right). Anything that you
can’t get done today or that you know you will not be doing
today becomes God’s ToDo. Simply draw a line from your side
to God’s and hand it over to Him/Her!

My Victory Log and My Gratitude List

Nightly, I review my day for what I’m grateful for and any
and all victories.

One Round of EFT

I commit to a minimum of one round or 3-
minutes of EFT daily.  I usually do more but I never let a
day go by without dealing with some upset, disconnection, or
doubt with EFT.  I believe that I’m more connected to peace
than I’ve ever been in my life thanks to this commitment.

I’m so grateful for this amazing, transformational tool.

Weekly: Do the following once a week:

Top 10 Goals for Right Now

These goals allow me to focus on the project milestones and
action items in a more detailed manner. By writing these
down on Sunday and putting them at my desk or in my calendar
as a reminder, I have my ‘bigger things first’ list right in
front of me. I check them off one by one and review these
goals several times a day to make sure I’m focused,
productive, and on target.

Accomplishments List

It’s easier to build upon success.  Therefore, I believe
that adding to my victories list once a week with ‘all the
things I did right this week’ gives me strength and
confidence to stay the course!

Monthly: Do the following once a month:

My Project Breakdown

All elephants must be reduced to bite-sized morsels! This is
my ongoing list of project goals, milestones, action items,
and questions. I take time to reverse engineer every goal
and every project that is worthy of my attention. (I qualify
this because not every goal gets my attention and reverse
engineered right now. Some goals are there for the Universe
to work on without me!)

This monthly activity breaks my big dreams down into
achievable and believable steps while prodding the Universal
Intelligence for maximum leverage and support. It’s not
necessary to know ‘how’ I’m manifesting a big goal, but if
it’s a project that I can breakdown into mini-
accomplishments (the “what(s)” of the project) then the big
U (big Universe) will support the manifestation of the
resources, action steps, and methods (the “how(s)” of the
project.)

One very important aspect of this exercise is the
identification of what I don’t know; the questions that I
will eventually need to have answered. I find that whenever
I am procrastinating, 90% of the time it’s because I don’t
know what to do next; or I’m unclear or I’m afraid of making
a mistake. By identifying the ‘what do I need to know to
accomplish this goal?’ questions, I inspire the Universe to
provide answers.  Not only do I receive insights into what
has to happen but to questions that I didn’t even know I
would need answered.

The 100 Things I want to be/do/have before I die.

I review, add-to, envision, create treasure maps of and/or
take inspired action upon anything on this list that calls
me in the moment.

I separate these into three simple categories:

  • - Things I want to do
  • - Things I want to be
  • - Things I want to have

I make several copies of my Top 100 Goals and keep a copy
with me at all times.  You never know when you’ll have a
stolen moment to visualize the BIG dreams.  I love having my
list handy (in the car, when I’m brushing my teeth, by my
bedside, in my purse and computer bag, etc.)

I have had many of these lists through out the years and I
like to keep it all on one page so that I can know exactly
what I want to visualize during my next creative manifesting
appointment (with God and I).

Yearly and/or Quarterly:

My Treasure Map:

I create treasure maps of specific goals that I’m focusing
upon. I cut out pictures and words that give me the
emotional essence of what I will feel when I have this
‘goal’ and paste together a collage that I enjoy fantasizing
and visualizing with regularity. (I use my treasure map in
my daily meditation.)

My Values for Life and Comprehensive Goals:

This is my list of the goals I have for the 13 different
compartments of my life. Every goal will fall under one of
the following headings: Self-Growth (Spiritual, Mental,
Physical, Emotional, Personality), Relationships (Family,
Mate, Friends/Community), and Worldly (Financial,
Career/Life Purpose/Path, Material, Activism, Adventure). I
choose to break my goals down once a year just to stay on
top of life and make sure I’m being intentional.

How do you MAKE your dreams important enough to achieve?

Purpose and Passion are the Panaceas to ALL disconnection including depression

Category: law of attraction — Anisa @ 11:23 am

Dear Anisa,

I have a question that’s been bugging me. I
really love LOA, I do. It’s the thing that got me my current
husband, who is exactly the person I asked for, so I know it
works. The problem is all this happy stuff!  I work
diligently at monitoring emotions and using positive
imagery, etc, and I feel great and purposeful for about a
week. But then, every time, I will completely fall off the
emotional scale, right down to the bottom.  And it could be
something small that triggers it, but I can’t seem to pick
myself up for at least a day or two. The downfall seems to
be proportionate to the progress I make in my positive
thinking.  Am I doing something wrong?  Have you heard of
others going through the same thing?  Any insight you have
would be a GREAT help, as I’m at my wits end! – S.

Dear S.

No, you are not alone and you are not doing something wrong.

And, I do believe your Spirit is calling. I’ve experienced
this personally and understand how troubling it can be to
have ‘everything’ and yet still ‘fall off the emotional
scale’, as you put it so perfectly.

I have also witnessed the emotional roller-coaster of many
spiritual friends who I deeply admire as well as light-
workers and teachers who suffer from great highs and great
lows.

As a society, we’re often bewildered by gifted celebrities who
struggle with their inner demons.  Steven Spielberg,
Robin Williams, contemporary singers, Mandy Moore and
Beyonce Knowles and Princess Leia – Carrie Fisher have all
admitted to feeling depressed (or some other label for
sadness) for no reason.

Legendary singer, Frank Sinatra, once said, “I am an 18-
carat manic depressive.  I have an over-acute capacity for
sadness and elation.”

From afar we question their struggles with thoughts such as,
“But Marilyn Monroe had it all?!  She had beauty, fame,
fortune, success, love, and the admiration of her country
and fans.  What could have been so bad that she needed drugs
or to take her own life?”

Likewise, in our own community of spiritual teachers, Lynn
Grabhorn, the international best-selling author of “Excuse
me, your life is waiting” changed people’s lives in
wonderfully positive ways.  She is still revered as one of
the most accessible and easy to understand writers of
conscious thought to have ever graced us with her work.  She
committed suicide smack dab in the middle of her astounding
success.

I don’t get it.  Perhaps, I never will. However, I do
believe that there’s meaning in our great capacity for both
’sadness and elation’.

I believe there’s purpose in these feelings of
‘disconnection’ and ‘depression’.  In fact, I believe it’s
disconnection (or sadness/negative emotions)
that often serves as our catalyst for change.

I have a theory that provides me with guidance and direction
when I too experience emotional swings ‘for no apparent
reason’.

I am open to sharing what I’ve come to believe as true for
me, as of today, on my personal, spiritual journey.  What
I’d like to make clear is that this is only my theory.  As
many of my ideas have evolved and changed drastically as I
gain greater knowledge and understanding about Spirit, I
must confess that if someone asks me tomorrow and I have new
data, this theory too may change.

I do not claim to be an expert in the psychological realm,
nor am I a trained therapist or qualified professional on
the matters of clinical depression.  If you (anyone reading
this article) believe you are depressed, please seek
professional help.

I have a ‘theory’ about why so many of us {light-workers,
spiritual seekers and Truth sleuthhounds} as well as those
who seem to achieve great feats of success feel such
emotional turmoil.

Depression, boredom, sadness, bi-polar disorder, chronic
fatigue, weariness and any form of emotional or physical
isolation or disconnection from our natural state of JOY is
the consequence of being severed from our Divine Source.

We have to wonder why depression afflicts educated persons
within the richer nations far more often than the rest of
the world. In fact 75% of the population on this planet have
no time to entertain sadness as they are too busy simply
trying to survive.

Since basic survival is not what civilized societies worry
about, we stress over more materialistic goals; we stress
because we lead with our mind instead of our hearts; we
stress because we fear we cannot make a difference or that
we are living a meaningless existence.  This stress creates
disconnection.

As we grow towards the light, we realize that only through
the unification and atonement with the Divine do we
transcend the grips of disconnection.  The Happiness
Solution, therefore, lies in discovering and embracing the
Kingdom of Heaven within.

From this discovery, we may still have moments of humanistic
quandaries about the ‘meaning of it all’ but we’ll handle
those quandaries more healthfully.

By living with the Truth that our Source and Supply is
internal, we more naturally relax into the flow of passion,
which like a swift and refreshing spring river, sweeps us
into the current of our life’s purpose.

Passion and purpose are the panaceas to all disconnection(s).

“When you discover your mission, you will feel its demand.
It will fill you with enthusiasm and a burning desire to get
to work on it.”  -  W. Clement Stone (1902-2002, best-
selling author and founder of Combined Insurance Co (now a
part of Aon Corp.)

My theory is that we must find and fulfill our passion and
our purpose to stay in the flow.

Most people (myself included) have been taught to pursue
life fulfillment through the acquisition of material
objects.  This seemingly innocuous pursuit of our dreams has
taught us that we can temporarily alleviate distress by
obtaining an external or materialistic goal (i.e. a new car,
a new outfit, a new TV, etc. – oh… did I forget to mention
- new shoes. I do love new shoes.)   And, the bottom line
is, it works, briefly.

Then, when materialism doesn’t have our tracking beam in its
grip, we co-dependently look towards our relationships to
provide the connection, happiness, and self-love
justification we desperately desire.

To compensate for our ‘Source Disconnection’ we seek out
surrogate activities that only provide an impermanent,
albeit comforting salve for the open wound created by this
spiritual separation in the first place.

When we seek first the Kingdom of Heaven Within, then all
things shall be added unto us.  The Kingdom of Heaven is our
awareness of the Presence of God within and thus our direct
acknowledgment of our relationship to our spiritual mission
and personal destiny.

For me, I have many materialistic dreams and external goals.
And, it feels great when I accomplish them.  However,
there’s also an inner grumbling.  This inner call gets
louder when I attempt to ignore or postpone the pursuit of
more meaningful contribution.

You too may hear this grumbling.  It’s the voice of our soul
saying, “I want to make a difference.”

For some, that purpose may be served entirely by
successfully parenting their children or creating
innovations that make life easier through technology or
producing works of art, song, or dance (to name just a few
expressions of purpose and passion.)

For others, it’s peacefully standing up for what’s right,
lending a hand to a friend (or a cause), or even leading
a cause that supports greater consciousness and light at
work, in the prisons, in foreign countries, etc., etc.,

Still for others, it’s simply about living INTENSELY in at
least ONE area of their life.  Period.

We all hear that grumbling and nudge.  It’s the inner guide
that is calling us to make our life meaningful, to feel
useful, and to fulfill the reason we chose to be born at
this time.

Did you catch that – we chose to be here now for a reason.

I believe this to be the reason so many light-workers and
seekers, who theoretically know JOY and LOVE are our natural
states, feel such great despair anyway.

We CHOSE to be here at a time on our planet when ALL life as
we know it is at risk.  We CHOSE to be here because it’s a
part of our greater purpose; our soul’s calling, to make a
difference at a critical time in history.

For example, when our focus is materialistic we either lose
sight of more meaningful pursuits (altruism, for example) or
we remain on the path of mediocrity fearful of the change,
rejection, and sacrifice required to be different enough to
make an impact.  Mediocrity leads to boredom which of course
exacerbates disconnection.

Instead of focusing on materialism we would be better served
by focusing on the essence of God – the love, joy, beauty,
prosperity and wholeness that is the Kingdom within.  The
good news is that our materialistic desires will be
fulfilled as the Kingdom within is all-providing and
lavishly abundant.

For light-workers, when we look at the sheer magnitude of
social and environmental dysfunction, many of us feel
overwhelmed with sympathy and hopelessness.

Other light-workers will do the spiritual-bypass and pretend
that if they ignore it, it’ll just go away. (Yes, this is
still better than getting upset but not as optimal as
intentional creation.)

We begin to question whether or not we have the capacity to
make a difference; the strength and the time to stop this
train of violence and destruction and fulfill what we came
here to accomplish.

My personal opinion is that this is what happened to Lynn
Grabhorn, the author I mentioned earlier.  She reported
feeling a ‘dark presence’ about her.  I believe this dark
presence was the weight of her purpose on her ‘mental
shoulders’.  Instead of surrendering to the ‘truth’ that she
already was making an important difference, the pain of ‘not
being able to eradicate all pain’ was too much to bear.

(And, I believe her choice was still aligned with a greater
purpose that I don’t have to understand.  When we lose
leaders there’s an expansion effect that in and of itself is
perfect.)

It’s important to understand the distinction between
sympathizing with our world’s troubles and empathizing.

With sympathy, we take on the emotional suffering and misery
thus disconnecting from the solution.  With empathy we act
with sensitivity and awareness while still remaining
connected to the Truth of our Being (as unlimited
potentiality.)

Instead of sympathizing with our world’s problems, we could
empathize while following that courageous voice inside that
says, “Do something – it’s your destiny.”

By finding and following your mission (whether it’s to be a
great friend, an activist, a healer, teacher, innovator,
way-shower, insert-any-form-of-passionate-living, etc.),
while seeking the Kingdom of Heaven within, you will find a
storm of ever-increasing meaning elegantly supplying you
with an abundance of joy.

Again, I believe that Passion and Purpose are the panaceas
to all disconnection(s.)

I hold the vision of you and all light-workers finding,
embracing and fulfilling their passion and purpose.

Can we use the Law of Attraction to Create something for another? (And, is it right?!?)

Category: law of attraction — Anisa @ 12:35 pm

Q: Dear Anisa,

I have a question that I have been meaning to ask for a
while. How can we, and should we, influence other people’s
healing? To what extent is it successful to help others when
they are unable to help themselves? For example, if we see
that someone is struggling with the same issue for a very
long time, but in different settings, is it OK for us to
visualize them getting over the problem, or use surrogate
EFT without them knowing? When do we know it’s ok to help
others, especially when we know they are suffering, versus
when should we let things be?

Thank you for any insights.- Aida.

A: Dear Aida,
Is surrogate tapping EFT ethical? Video:

Thank you for standing strong within your spiritual
integrity and wanting to do the right thing.  On our
spiritual journey towards higher consciousness, there are
definite soul-ponderings that are representative of positive
growth.  This question, “is it appropriate to meddle with
another’s spiritual journey?” is one of them.

I acknowledge you and anyone that aspires to be congruent
with both your spiritual intentions and your physical
actions.   Bravo!

The questions we want answers to are:

What if we ‘create’ something that is not aligned with their
soul’s desire or their life’s purpose?  Who are we to think
that we know what is ‘right’ for another person?  And,
shouldn’t we ask permission before assuming we can do
surrogate EFT for another, even though we know they are
hurting?

Before addressing the intricate nuances around our spiritual
integrity, I’d like to make it very clear:

Yes! It’s unconditionally appropriate to hold another in
their highest good through prayer, visualization, surrogate
EFT or any other form of love-guided remote assistance or
healing modality.

(Side-note:  What’s surrogate EFT?   When emotional freedom
technique is performed remotely for another’s benefit, this
may or may not include their knowledge of the EFT activity.

Search ‘Surrogate EFT’ here for more information.)
Understand that the actions and the results of loving
prayer, visualization, and surrogate EFT are interchangeable

and identical.  Thus, if one believes that it’s okay to pray then it’s absolutely acceptable to visualize or perform
surrogate EFT.

If you ask permission to pray for someone, then ask
permission to visualize or do surrogate EFT.  This is a
personal choice.  For me, I believe that as an energetic
being that is actually ONE with ALL (including ALL humans on
the planet), permission to send love is inherent in the
nature of unity.

Having said this, the question, “…but, what if we create
something that is not aligned with what they want” is based
on an erroneous assumption.  The question stems from a
misguided idea that it’s possible to create in another’s
experience something mal-aligned with their soul’s
vibration.  If, in fact, it were possible to over-ride
another’s vibration in an entirely contradictory manner then
everything we believe about ‘the Universal Laws being
consistent and predictable’ would be false.

We cannot create in another person’s experience anything
contrary to their personal vibration.  Thus, we can
visualize incessantly for their healing but if they are
stalwartly aligned with the experiences associated with
illness, our prayers (visualizations/EFT/intentions) will
not budge the outcome. This is, of course, Divinely Perfect.

On the other hand, if we visualize one’s health and
wholeness and this is aligned (a vibrational match) with
their soul’s desire, our mutual intentions will spark a
beautiful explosion of healing possibilities.

Imagine a child who has fallen off their bike.  Would we
stand aside because it was ‘their learning process to scrape
their knees’ or would we lend a hand, help dust them off,
and encourage them to try again?

Visualizing or performing surrogate EFT for another is not
dissimilar to lending an invisible hand.

I can hear the stirrings now… “but, how do we know what’s
right for them? And, what makes us the authority on what
another person should feel, do, or experience?”

The answer is, we don’t know and we will never be the
authority regarding what another should experience.

The good news, however, is that it doesn’t matter!   Since
we can’t create in their experience without their
‘vibrational agreement’, if our ‘dream’ for them isn’t
‘right’, it cannot influence their experience anyway!

Now, before anyone sends me ‘nasty emails’ saying I’m
promoting reckless spiritual intervention and unauthorized
psychic intrusions by ‘metaphysical know-it-alls’, please
read on.

As we grow spiritually, we begin to feel compelled to choose
higher level intentions in all we do.  This simply makes
living spiritually and in the flow a more accessible
experience.

Thus, in order to be aligned with our OWN highest level of
consciousness, I suggest asking the question, “what is my
real intention?”

Is my intention to influence another’s situation for my
personal gain?  Or, is my intention to send forth God’s love
for the highest and best outcome for all parties involved?

For the sake of conversation, let’s say you have a friend
that owes you money.  You are angry, hurt, and frustrated
with their lack of integrity and their inability to hold to
their agreement.   You also know that your friend feels
terrible about it.

You could choose to visualize them ‘paying you back’ and if
this is aligned, it would support the process in a positive
way.  If not, your visualization would go nowhere.

Additionally, if you are attached to the outcome, you would
actually hinder your financial prosperity in a negative way.

On the other hand, if you would visualize ‘receiving and
experiencing your Divine Abundance in wonderful ways’ while
forgiving your friend and detaching from the outcome, your
visualization would be spiritually aligned with greater
potentiality.   This in turn yields a higher consciousness
vibration which means you’ll manifest what you really want
faster!

Now let’s suppose you choose to do surrogate EFT. (I’ll
share more about how to use surrogate EFT next week.)

Surrogate EFT might look like – Sore-sport or Karate Chop
point:

  • “I, friend’s name, am a loser for not paying my friend back.
  • “You,friend’s name, are a worthless loser because you hurt me and made me struggle financially.
  • “He/She, friend’s name, is a loser because they didn’t pay me back.”

(Followed by reminder statements and points using I, You,
He/She, **This is just one example.   There are many phrases
we could choose here.)

It may seem as though the intention is to influence the
situation for personal gain.  However, if we look a little
closer, you’ll discover that the REAL healing will be
personal and may or may not influence the other person in
any way.

You see, even with an intention to influence the situation
for our personal gain, the results will be the experience of
greater peace for us.

The reason for this is twofold.  First, I repeat – we cannot
create in another’s experience something not aligned with
their vibration/intention.  And, second, because EFT has a
magical way of harmonizing our emotional connection to the
Truth that ‘all is well all the time.”

By intending to be intentional and conscious in all we do,
we will ask the question, “what is my real intention with
this prayer, visualization or surrogate EFT?”

If the answer is, “I want them to do what I want them to do”
then forgive yourself, do the EFT anyway and know that the
healing work you are doing is more for you, than for them.

If the answer is, “I want to support my loved one in
experiencing their Divine Birthright of absolute Love,
Prosperity, Health, Beauty, Joy, Wisdom, and Wholeness.”

Then do the surrogate EFT and release your attachment to the
outcome, knowing that whatever happens, it’s always Divinely
Ordered.

Divine Order – how wonderful that we simply can’t get around
it!?!?

I know I haven’t answered the question, “To what extent is
it successful?” Let me say, in a nutshell, surrogate EFT has
been one of the most profoundly effective tools I’ve ever
used.  I have witnessed surrogate EFT miracles that are
asbolutely unexplainable otherwise.  I promise this is not
an overstatement -surrogate EFT is nothing short of
miraculous.

Now that I have your curiosity piqued, I’ll address ‘how to
use surrogate EFT’ in my next Quick Manifesting Morsel.
Pstt… it’s absolutely the most fascinating and mind-
blowing technique you’ll ever learn!

Please share your Surrogate EFT experiences with me!  We can’t wait to hear – submit your comments below.
