We were born with the unlimited potential to intentionally create (use the law of attraction) to manifest all of our heart's desires. Together, as Conscious Leaders guided by the Divine, we have the Mind Power necessary to co-create a sustainable, harmonious, peaceful, and prosperous world.  And, we can do this while also attracting and creating a passionate, loving, rich, healthy life with all of our personal dreams fulfilled.

If it only takes 68 seconds to manifest, why isn’t everyone rich and successful?

Category: law of attraction — Anisa @

Why are the numbers 86,400 (Eight-six-thousand-four-hundred), 68 (sixty-eight), and 10,000 (ten thousand) and 17 (seventeen) important to you?

Let’s see about the first two:

How many seconds in a day? —> 86,400

How many seconds of pure-belief does it take to manifest something? —-> 68

Earlier this week, I asked you, “Do you know what this means?”

It means that we have 1270 opportunities EVERY DAY to attract what we really want in life.

But, how often do you convince yourself that you just don’t have the time:
• I don’t have time to visualize.
• I tried to manifest that and it just didn’t work.
• I’ll have to sit down and write out my goals later.
• I have to learn how to visualize first.

It all comes down to, “I’ll have to do that later, when I have more time.”

As if 68 seconds were such a challenge to find?!?

Now, it’s confession time.

I too find myself saying, “Oh, I’ll have to remember to launch a vision about that.” Procrastinating on creating something more aligned because, “I’m simply too busy to be distracted by my higher-desires at the moment.”

I believe there are two reasons we procrastinate. First, we do not fully comprehend the power of our minds. We cannot fathom how “68 seconds of pure-belief is equal to 2 million man-action hours – Abraham-Hicks”. How can that possibly be true?!? If we did truly believe this, is there any way you’d waste 1270 opportunities?!?

The second reason we procrastinate is because we’ve failed before; we’ve visualized and seen only marginal or sporadic results. Deep down we know that the failure lies in our inability to achieve that pure-belief.

This leads me to the quest for mastery and the number – 10,000. You know what that number represents? It’s the number of hours required to achieve mastery of any craft, sport, art, science or expertise. It’s the number of hours required to be an expert.

“Researchers have settled on what they believe is the magic number for true expertise: ten thousand hours.” – Malcolm Gladwell, best-selling author of Blink, The Tipping Point, and The Outliers

In Malcolm Gladwell’s book, The Outliers he retells the results of a 1990 study done at Berlin’s Elite Academy of Students.

In summary: The psychologist K. Anders Ericcson and colleagues separated students into three groups. Star musicians, good musicians, and average musicians. All were questioned, “Since you first started to play, how many hours have you practiced?”

Without exception, those in the star category revealed the equivalent of thousands and thousands of hours. The good musicians practiced a lot, but not nearly thousands of hours. Followed by the average musicians, who practiced even less.

Throughout the study, their research never discovered the ‘prodigy’ that was able to practice less and still be a star. Nor did they find the ‘grind’, or the musician that could play more and not become a star.
I’m sharing this with you because even though 68 seconds is a minimal amount of time to spend manifesting and visualizing your goals, it is unlikely you’ll ever feel that sense of mastery until you’ve practiced it enough to achieve greater confidence. And, ANYONE can do it. There’s nothing special about me or any other excellent manifestor!?! If you put in the practice you will see the results!

This means you must start working on your 10,000 hours of visualizations, NOW! And, when you do, you are ensured mastery – or in our case – deliberate success on all fronts!

Now… I bring you ONE more number – 17! That’s right, the magic number in all of this is just 17 seconds.

Abraham breaks it down this way:
17 Seconds of pure-belief is equal to 2000 man action hours
34 = 2000 x 10 = 20,000 man-action hours
51 = 20,000 x 10 = 200,000 man-action hours
68 = 200,000 x 10 = 2 million man-action hours

Every 17 seconds of pure-thought that you launch, you are closer to achieving your dreams than if you went out and physically tackled them for 2000 hours!

You may  dismiss the idea of having to spend 10,000 hours visualizing. However, think of it this way – during your quest for 10,000 you’ll have moments of fantastic and extraordinary pure-beliefs. Imagine if you are able to launch just ONE 68 seconds of pure-belief a year (remember, that’s 2 million action hours) what your life will be like?!?!

Isn’t it worth the effort to start seizing those 1270 opportunities now? And, if you can chunk it down into bite-sized pieces of 17 seconds at a time, eventually you’ll find it as effortless as breathing.
Abraham also says that we should not focus on visualizing as a means to ‘get what we want’. We should visualize because the simple act of fantasizing feels so marvelous! Thus, if we intend to visualize because we enjoy the process we release our attachment to the outcome and align more congruently with the vibration of pure-belief.
The same goes for if we intend to achieve visualization mastery, and choose to be willing to obtain the goal of 10,000 hours of visualization, we let go of ‘looking for the results’ and instantly align once again with the vibration or ‘pure-belief’!

Hey – what a great way to practice the law of detachment!

Now, I want to share with you is the 17 second formula that I use. Are you ready? Oh, and don’t blink or you’ll miss it:

“Today… I am so excited because I did this, and experienced that.
As I look back on my day, I am most grateful because… .
Isn’t it wonderful how everything worked out so beautifully today with this, and with that…
I must be God’s favorite child because all the Universal forces were acting on my behalf today as I witnessed one miracle after another… let me explain…
Why is it that all of my desires around ‘this’ were so swiftly fulfilled today? I just have to tell you the story…”

That’s it. (And, yes, I talk to myself. My entire family has to make excuses for their crazy ‘relative’ that still has invisible friends. So what – ask me if it’s worth it!?! )

I continue to flow gratitude, passion, excitement, confidence, and much delightful revelry as I can! And, I do it for 17 seconds throughout my day.

Try it!

–> The goal is 10,000 hours.
–> The opportunity presents itself 1270 times a day.
–> Each VISION is just 17 seconds at a time.

Ahhhh – I just found a GREAT Abraham video:

  1. so does this include writing with a pure thought for 17 secs then?

    Also can you give me tips on how to actually visualise for 17 seconds straight and actually staying focused?

    and how do we know we are actually visualising? i do get a mental image but its like its pushed to the back of my mind, and not clear like seeing through my eyes. if that makes sense?

  2. Try to focus on the nice feeling of it. You will know that you have definately done 17 seconds because it will feel like the nice feeling has expanded and gotten better.
