“Is there a timeline or how long does chemicalization take?”

A: The timeline is…. (wait for it….) As Long As It Takes.

Rats! I know that’s not what you want to hear. I don’t like it either. However, if we focus on the future becoming what we intend it to be, it’s easier to batten down the hatches, and weather the storm. Beautiful creations require time. A piece of coal takes massive friction to become a diamond. An Oak tree may put out as many as 10,000 acorns before one offspring becomes a seedling, becomes a tree.

I do have good news though! Although the process of change will remain the same throughout eternity, our ability to adapt to change has infinite possibilities.

If Tadpoles & Frogs Can Evolve - Surely We Can Too!

Did you know that the lifecycle of a tadpole is different depending upon its environment AND evolutionary pressures? A tadpole in an arid environment has to evolve quickly in order to thrive before those tiny pools dry up. On the other hand, a tadpole surrounded by lots of water leisurely moves through the stages of growth. Same species, close cousins, and yet one has to evolve in as little as 29 days whereas the other has up to 15 months to become its ultimate evolution – the frog.

“That’s nice, Anisa. Thank you for the elementary science lesson… but I need to know how long will chemicalization and all the craziness that comes with it, last for me?!”

Well think about it! If a tadpole has the intelligence to intentionally evolve in order to grow, live, and prosper – then surely we do too! We too are capable of intentional evolution!

We have the capacity to surrender to the process by intentionally TRUSTING in its inherent Divinity and thereby shorten the life-cycle of the chaotic elements. Our negative reaction to the chaos actually extends and even animates its lifecycle.

A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events and outcomes. It is a catalyst and it sparks extraordinary results. – Wade Boggs, Professional Baseball Player

If you were to line up all of the most successful people in the world and of all time, you’d discover there are a few things they ALL have in common:

– a) They chose to believe in their BIG DREAMS

– b) They chose to believe they had the capacity to fulfill them

– b) They chose to be resilient when they were knocked down

– d) They chose to turn even the most difficult ‘failures’ into positive possibilities

The ability to turn chemicalization into merely short moment of reconstructive, organized chaos depends upon your ability to CHOOSE a more positive perspective.

Here are some key affirmative statements to practice:

– I choose to believe in myself, despite the evidence before me.

– I choose to believe in my capacity to fulfill my dreams (handle this situation, create something better, manifest health, love, etc.)

– I choose to be resilient. I refuse to get up. I will never, ever, ever, ever give up!

– I choose to know that this too shall pass!

– I choose to know this ‘chaos’ is part of the Divine plan.

– I choose to embrace the Truth that all is well, all the time, whether I understand why or how or not!

– I choose to Trust in the Divine to organize this chaos according to my greatest and highest good, now and always.

– I choose to know that I am capable, strong, resilient, and can handle whatever is happening as simply required for the fulfillment of my Divine Purpose – which absolutely included the beautiful fulfillment of all my dreams!

Here also is a round of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) that will really help with the emotional aspect of dealing with chemicalization:

EFT to Surrender to Chemicalization & Thereby Speed it up!

Set up your intention with the Divine:

I ask the Universal Life Force, God to support, uplift and empower me. I ask that the intentions I hold are of the highest and best for not only myself but for all those involved. If I am focused upon lower-level intentions, such as fear, I seek gentle realignment. If my vision is anything less than pure-spirit and pure-love, I ask for support in exalting my sight to the highest and best that spiritual Truth contains.

Sore Spot / Karate Chop Point:

– Even though I am afraid and anxious about “this situation”, I am willing to love, accept and forgive myself anyway.

– Even though I cannot see a way out of this chaos, disconnection and difficult whirlwind, I am willing to embrace the truth that all is well, anyway.

– Even though I feel powerless, insignificant, and beaten down by this experience of chemicalization, this time of change, I am willing to be faithful and to know that this too shall pass and in the end, all is well, anyway.

Inner eye:

– This fear and doubt

Outer eye:

– I am so resistant to this change.

Under eye:

– How can this possibly be for my highest and best good?

Beneath Nose:

– I cannot wait for this to be settled. I feel so insecure.


– I’m afraid to trust this process because what if I relax and it continues to go sour or become even more of a disaster?


– I’m afraid, I’m insecure, I’m anxious – and I can’t stop it!

Anchor Truth – Hold your Wrist:

– Take a deep breath and say, “Peace!”

Repeat the KC/SS phrases:

“Even though I still feel.. .insecure, doubtful, anxious, overwhelmed, terrified, etc.” I love and accept myself anyway. I am willing to set my fears aside and accept what is as somehow perfect and within the Divine Plan, regardless of whether or not I understand it.

Inner eye:

– This remaining fear and doubt

Outer eye:

– I am still so resistant to this change.

Under eye:

– I still don’t get it?!? How can this possibly be for my highest and best good?

Beneath Nose:

– I really want this to be over, settled, calmed down! I still feel so insecure.


– A part of me refuses to trust in this process of change – it just looks so horribly wrong and dreadful! I’m still afraid and a part of me is refusing to let go and trust in God.


– I’m still afraid, I’m still insecure, I’m still anxious – and I can’t stop it! In fact, I don’t even know for sure that I would if I could!

Anchor Truth – Hold your Wrist:

– Again – Take a deep breath and say, “Peace!” Take as many deep and forceful breaths as necessary and repeat, “Peace!” (Allow PEACE fill you.)

Now, let’s implant some POSITIVE commands:

Inner Eye: I am willing to be peaceful.

Outer Eye: I am willing to relax, let go, and let God.

Under Eye: This too shall pass.

Beneath Nose: I realize my fear is not protecting me or helping anything. I choose to release all fear, doubt, and mental-crazy-making –now!

Chin: I accept Divine Order, even when I can’t see; I have faith that Divinity remains continuous, and unrelenting and therefore all is well, no matter what.

Collarbone: I choose peace. I choose faith. I choose to let go, and let God.

Anchor Truth: (Hold Wrist) Peace

YOU CAN CHOOSE TO GROW… even when it’s all messy! Growth means using adversity as an opportunity to assume your life is getting better and that the outcome of chaos is peace, love, order, prosperity, and joy.

And, when you just can’t ‘assume’ it. Then do your emotional work to allow you to atleast trust in the process of Divine Order. EFT, Meditation, Intentional Journaling – all help.

How to Manifest What You Want Better & Faster

How to create your personal Vibration Elevation Phrases. (Better known as – How to Manifest What You Want Better and Faster!)

The following formula (Vibration Elevation) will assist you in raising your overall level consciousness; And, thereby make it easier for you to manifest better and faster!. Keep in mind – a limiting belief cannot survive in a sea of higher consciousness.

When you look around your life, do you ever feel like you’re playing the same song over and over again? Sure sometimes it’s a good tune, but other times you would do anything to change the station!?!?

This is what it feels like when we get into the habit of playing the same vibrational frequency day-in and day-out unconsciously. However, we CAN break that habit and create a NEW reality!

To explain what I mean, I want to talk to you about dry ponds, for a moment.

Have you ever wondered how fish get into a dry pond? In Texas, our small ponds dry up during our hottest months. Then, come spring the rains come in and suddenly our dry ponds are springing with fish! Where did they all come from? This was a serious mystery to me growing up. I had one crazy aunt tell me that birds brought fish-eggs in on their claws to refill the ponds. While I must confess, I believed her for a while – eventually, I realized she wasn’t working with the sharpest tools upstairs! Even as a young adult, I can remember not understanding how those fish got there! So, I looked it up a few years back.

Animals have an amazing ability to adapt in order to survive. Some fish, knowing the dry-season is imminent, lay their eggs in the mud and the eggs become dormant until the waters rise again. Other fish, have the ability to survive by hibernating in their mud-nests. Then, when the waters rise, they breakout swimming and spawning! Still, other fish have been known to cross land in order to get into a pond with more flow!

The dry-pond is similar to what we experience when we are stuck in our lower-level vibrations. Life is more difficult and no matter how much we wish we could swim around and break free of our past, we are stuck in the mud, waiting for the waters to rise! But, that’s just it – we are waiting, waiting, waiting – just barely surviving as we wait for some stroke of luck!

On the other hand, the water-rising is like our thoughts rising to a higher level vibration. By intentionally choosing to put our attention upon more powerful and more loving, courageous, optimistic, and hopeful thoughts we actually become our own rainmakers! Instead of hibernating until our next ‘lucky season’ comes along, we actually call forth the rain. And, fantastically enough, by walking ourselves UP from lower levels of consciousness (see the demonstrations below) we really begin to maintain our water supply as well. Eventually, our pond is so deep, we are spared the dry season entirely.

You see, our goal is to move from a lower level consciousness to a positive level by moving:

From a Negative space…

You want to walk yourself up from Shame, to Guilt, to Apathy, to Grief, to Fear, to Desire, to Anger, to Pride and then finally up into the positive vibrational place. (All of the aforementioned emotions are lower level, or descending levels of consciousness i.e. limiting or negative – including desire.)

From the Neutral or Positive …

You want to walk yourself up starting with Courage, then moving to pure Neutrality, to Willingness, to Acceptance, to Reason, to Love, to Joy, to Peace, and finally to Enlightenment.

Within Dr. Hawkin’s book, Power vs. Force he describes the levels of consciousness in his Map of Consciousness (see graphic below.) Using the map as your guide, walk yourself up from any of the lower level emotions by choosing a phrase that is one level higher than where you currently are emotionally. If you are an Abraham Hicks fan, you can also search and reach about “levels of consciousness”.

So, here’s how to do it… (How to raise your own waters – make it rain, baby!)

First, get really good at identifying and claiming your emotion. You might be surprised at how many of us do not know how to just claim how we feel. LEARN to recognize a negative emotion and claim it for what it is.

Do you feel regret due to a bad decision? What’s that feeling? Is it shame or sadness or both?

Feeling disconnected and exhausted as you try repeatedly to achieve a goal? What’s that feeling? Is it apathy, shame, frustration? Claim it.

Whatever the emotion, I highly recommend you tap it out (with EFT).

Do a round of EFT (you can see an EFT demo on my site.) Next, choose a statement that is one step up from that emotions. For EVERY negative emotion on the map, you will discover that there will always be thoughts that trigger the next level up of emotions.

For example, if you feel ashamed, which is the lowest level of consciousness on the map, then you will also have thoughts/emotions on every level above shame.


  • Shame:
  • I am ashamed that I’ve failed in relationships.
  • If this is true, then you will also feel Guilt.
  • Guilt:
  • I feel guilty that I’ve made so many mistakes and been such a failure.
  • If this is true, then you will also feel Apathy.
  • Apathy:
  •  I’m so tired of the struggle. I just want it to end. There isn’t anything I can do to change this.
  • If this is true, then you will also feel Grief.
  • Grief:
  • I’m so sad that I’ve failed myself and others so badly.
  • If this is true, then you will also feel Fear.
  • Fear:
  • I’m afraid that I will always be a worthless failure. I’m afraid to fail again.
  • If this is true, then you will also feel Desire.
  • Desire:
  • I really want a relationship. I really want to find my true love and make it work.
  • If this is true, then you will also feel Anger.
  • Anger:
  • I am angry that I’ve failed. I’m angry that my partners didn’t help us succeed. I’m angry that I made so many mistakes. I’m angry that my partner made mistakes.
  • If this is true, then you will also feel Pride.
  • Pride:
  • I AM good enough to have a relationship. I CAN do this. I can make myself succeed!

Note: Do you see how Desire has a negative tone about it? It’s as if we’re longing, or envious about what we want. This is why we always want to move from Desire to a level of Willingness and preferably Acceptance in order to consciously manifest it.

Note Also: Pride is still in the negative, or descending consciousness vibrational field. This is why taking yourself up through a minimum of Courage is required to leave your vibrational frequency in a state of POSITIVE attraction.

This systematic method will give you insight into what other thoughts you will need to uncover and apply EFT on in order to clear all levels and layers of limiting beliefs.

Positive Consciousness Implanting Options:

After your negative emotion round of EFT, continue tapping on the meridian points while selecting from any of the following Vibration Elevation Phrases. (And, eventually you’ll have your own higher consciousness phrases that work for you. Write them down and include them.)

  • I am courageous. I courageously… I am bold. I boldly…
  • I have the courage to do what needs to be done, here and now.
  • I am at Peace with what is, and I am at Peace with ….
  • I accept myself. I accept that I did the very best that I could, given my level of consciousness at the time.
  • I am willing … I trust in the Divine Order of life…
  • What I intend to have is … What I intend to be is…
  • What I intend to experience is… I am grateful for the fulfillment of…….. …..(all these things/experiences now).
  • I am at Peace with … I accept that ‘this person’ did the very best that they could, given who they were and what they’d experienced up until this point as well.
  • I hand this over to the Divine, as it is Spirit/God’s responsibility, not mine. I am comfortable in letting this go, now.
  • I choose greatness. I accept and expect fulfillment.
  • I trust myself. I love myself…
  • I love… I am grateful…
  • I am at peace with… I refuse to take anything personal ..and…
  • I am willing to forgive I am willing to fail and I am willing to succeed
  • I allow myself to be neutral I am open, willing, and accepting of…
  • I relax and let God… I am bliss.
  • I am fulfillment I am peace.
  • I am one with the Presence of the Divine, and therefore totally fulfilled. I embrace my unlimitedness.
  • I embrace my pure potentiality. I expect great things and …
  • I joyously … I am joyful about…
  • I accept that all is well. I accept that this too shall pass.
  • I accept the Divine Order. I accept that there is a Divine Timing at work here.

The above examples are phrases that automatically trigger a higher level of consciousness.

Check in to your SUD’s level (your emotional distress level) after each round of positive implanting/tapping. When you reach NEUTRAL you can stop, or you can continue until you reach a state of Positive Vibration, which is obviously more harmonious to the manifestation of your goals.

Eventually, when you continue to force your lower-level thoughts/beliefs and negative emotions up this scale, your mind STOPS going there (except for brief moments) entirely. The beauty of this work is that you can actually re-train your mind and your emotions to transition quickly, thus preventing your Pond-of-Potential creations from ever going dry. Instead, by adopting an intention to remain in the higher-vibrational emotions, you are consistently adding more and more rain and beautiful, life-supporting water (energy) to your dreams! One more beautiful fact is that all those dreams that you thought were long gone, have actually been lying dormant, just waiting for your ‘vibration’ to rise enough to be born. Thus, don’t be surprised if many, many of your dreams begin to come true all at once!

Try this out, I know you’ll find it far easier to manifest better and faster!

11-11-11 A Spiritual Mind Treatment for Activating & Commanding Higher Consciousness Experience for All – 11-11-11

I love all the Hoopla about 11-11-11! And, it's not because
I'm convinced of all the whoo-whoo hoopla about portals and
extra-terrestrial beings of light, either. Since, a
"believer" can't prove it to me and a "skeptic" cannot
disprove it, I'm allowing myself to stand in the middle and
catch a flying carpet ride! 

For me, the portal of light and global transformation day of
11-11-11 may be true or it may be crazy. It doesn't matter -
because WE, as conscious creators, get to dance with the
energy of pure-transformation and pure-manifestations with
thousands of others! Does it actually matter whether some
earth-shattering, spiritual portal shift is occuring or not?
I don't know?!? 

But, I do know that all over the globe, people are
meditating together on sustainability, health, wholeness,
transformation, peace, love, prosperity, enlightenment AND
JOY! We are holding our thoughts together - collectively -
to experience more GOD more of the time. How cool is

Activating and Commanding Higher Consciousness Experience
for All 

I claim my Divine Right to pure belief, pure harmony and
pure oneness with the Divine Energy that creates worlds. I
am so humbled by the sheer power of love and that I, as
Love's servant, get to access and command its power with

is but ONE TRUE source for all creation and that SOURCE is
benevolent GOD/Creative Mechanism that responds with precise

Dear God – thank you for helping me to understand and fully
embrace the Divine Order of our world. Thank you for
supporting me in not becoming consumed or obsessed about
injustices and the trials and tribulations, and the
suffering while still inspiring me to take Divine Right
Action aligned with justice, and a more balanced, fair, and
conscious solution. 

Help me to understand that while all-things-are-perfect-
exactly-as-they-are, we are conscious creators that get to
direct the flow and it’s absolutely a part of our Divine,
collective plan to intend greater CONSCIOUSNESS. I choose
Health, Wealth, and Wholeness for all. I GET to hold and
accept this vision for myself and I choose to HOLD and
ACCEPT this manifestation for our world as well. 

I acknowledge that we manifested this world and therefore
the elements of climate change are OUR manifestational
results. Thus, I reclaim our planet and give thanks that all
systems required for a sustainable future are instantly and
immediately greased for flowing movement. I acknowledge that
those who have served as the ‘climate deniers’ are now
embracing truth and actively support the ‘spreading-of-the-
solution’. I am thankful for the spiritual activists and
those who vocalize solutions in a positive and powerful way.
I know we are powerful enough to create a positive world,
full of ample supply, resources, and the heightened
consciousness required for global care and relief from
unsustainable ideas. 

I am grateful that today we leap with joy into higher and
more evolved frequency. I give thanks that we collectively
WAKE UP! We awaken and embrace the Presence of God in each
person that we behold, no matter who they are or where they
come from. 

I ask for guidance as I walk with the intention of fierce
kindness. I choose to be kind at all times while fiercely
and courageously acting upon the intention of conscious
evolution. I seek guidance from the light of the Divine to
know how to speak and share the vision in such a way as to
make it accessible and acceptable by all. And, I detach
knowing that the crowd that is required for a global shift
is already in partnership with me. I seek to be of service
and ask to be a servant leader aligned with the Divine Love
that this transformative dream expresses. I seek to serve my
brothers and sisters on this planet, mammals and non,
enlightened ones and others. I give thanks that during this
transition that suffering be minimal. Because I CAN ask for
ease - I ask for it! Because I CAN ask for minimal suffering
- I ask for it! I am grateful that all disconnection from
SOURCE be transmuted into loving, joyous connection. 

I ask for a higher vibration to warm us like a soft blanket
in winter. I specifically ask that we, as a collective
species, wake up and learn the lessons we need to from our
most current planetary trials. I hold the intention of pure
recovery for Japan and that all future generations be immune
from the fallout of the recent Tsunami, Earthquake and
Nuclear meltdown. I hold the intention of the Gulf of
Mexico, restored and abundant with healthy, wildlife. I hold
the intention of Haiti as rebuilt and brought back to love
and life in a renewed plan for wholeness and prosperity. I
hold the intention of No. Korea’s flood-troubles eliminated
as they now experience an open-and-loving influx of support
and nourishment – so that all children have a full-belly and
ample fresh water. I intend loving kindness to spread like
fresh spring sunshine to struggling parents so that children
may experience the love and happiness they deserve. 

I am grateful for the complete and immediate manifestation
of these things now. All this and greater things are
happening now, and I don’t have to know how. I release this
WORD into the LAW where it is made manifest – in perfect
order and timing, with the Divine hand of Grace. I am
grateful to be flying as a lightworker on floating feathers
of Divinity, blessed and blissed out – so be it! It is done!

Is it counter-productive to our growth if we are not faced with adversity?

Wouldn’t the things you list [The elimination of all war, poverty, hunger, and disease] also dramatically diminish the Contrast that can be experienced here on earth?

I’ve read a lot of Abraham-Hicks, and it seems that the contrast is needed in order to know what you really want. So, if there was only peace, would we know that we want it? Is it possible to have no poverty? Wouldn’t there always be relative poverty of some type? These are the thoughts that occur whenever I hear someone suggest the world should be more free of these types of contrasts. It might be counter-productive to our growth here on the earth plane if we are not faced with adversities and choices.

Just my two cents…



Yes, I agree – there will always be contrast and thank goodness for the Divine Order of opposites!  The contrast is why we chose to be here on this planet at this time – to CREATE in-spite of the contrast; to DIRECT intention because of the disagreements and to TAP-INTO-FLOW using the disparity as our impetus.

My great, great grandfather was a share-cropper in Louisiana.  He raised his family alongside other extremely poor, share-croppers and they all lived in over-crowded, dilapidated, dirt floor homes.  Somewhere along the way, my great grandfather found and fostered a vision for something better for his family.  Somehow, he imagined that if he could just buy his own land and start his own small vegetable garden that they could have a happier, healthier, more prosperous life.  At some point, he risked it all to seize this vision and moved to Texas where he became a landowner and a successful farmer. The vision for this possibility had to come from somewhere.  Maybe he dreamed it up on his own or maybe he heard or saw someone else create something better.  Regardless, it’s the possibility for something better (than the adversity) that inspires us to create change and go for our dreams.

Inside, we hunger for enough contrast to drive us mad with passion, and enough passion to compel us toward our own evolution and transformation.  We hunger for development and without contrast, at least at this stage of our evolution, the ennui would be unbearable. Oh… what do you know, more contrast?!?

Indeed, there will always be a Yin and Yang and it would in fact be counter-productive to our development should all adversity be eliminated.  Thus this planet will always have relative poverty, strife, and conflict.

And, I’m also completely convinced that there are a gazillion options between the extreme anguish and suffering that we have in our world today and total, absolute PEACE, FREEDOM, and PURE LOVE.   I’m comfortable reaching for and holding the vision for WHOLENESS all the while knowing that this vision will never fully come into fruition with 100% purity.

I am not so naïve (or would it be arrogant) to believe that pure peace and the elimination of all strife is the precise end game. Never the less, I am willing to hold the vision and allow the Universal Law of Balance to sort out the ‘Peace and Prosperity’ variations.  I don’t have to have it be ‘perfect’ according to my plan but I do believe with foresight and intentional direction, it can become Divinely Perfect and significantly better just the same.

I maintain that it is our responsibility, as conscious creators, to hold the vision of Peace and Prosperity, simply because we are conscious of the fact that our thoughts create our reality.  Let me restate this – it is my fiduciary duty to HOLD the vision BECAUSE I understand how we co-create our world; by neglecting my part of the vision, I support it’s opposite.  Should I choose NOT to hold the vision, I am automatically complicit with the status quo of extreme poverty, violence, unsustainable environmental affronts, etc.

I liken this to my commitment to the democratic process and my right vote. It is not only my right but my responsibility to vote.  Millions have lost their lives in the struggle for freedom with the hope that someday their children or their children’s children will have the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  Again, I am not so naïve as to believe that my single vote makes a difference but I refuse to squander away my right just because it might not matter!  I refuse to disrespect those that fought for my freedoms by being complacent and too indifferent to get to the polls.

Likewise, there’s a spiritual movement afoot and millions are gathering to discuss and act upon creative options for creating a world more aligned with harmony, peace, prosperity, and wellness. Millions through the years have experienced punishment, humiliation, and even death (think Salem witch trials) due our progressive ideas; that we are powerful creators capable of directing energy and consciously creating our world. I refuse to neglect my role and responsibility in this movement simply because my little vision may not matter or because the end-game is not actually pure utopia.

As we join together to hold the vision of the IDEAL, my vision adds to your vision, which adds to another’s vision and with enough visions, we have a chance to influence our global community in a very powerful and positive way (albeit short of Perfect Peace.)

I have a family member that refuses to vote because he believes “My vote won’t make a difference so why should I waste my time?”  And, I have a dear friend who wants to make a difference but believes, “My life is a mess – how can I possibly help someone else?” If we seek to find a reason for inaction, we will always find it –whether our desire is to find a mate, start a business, or create world peace.  🙂

Contrast is a dependable motivator and a necessary instigator for a meaningful life.  Likewise, a powerful vision can change not only our lives but the world as well.

I will continue HOLDING the vision of PEACE, PROSPERITY, AND WELLNESS and for those that it is meant to support, it will go forth and be there when they are ready to align.

How do I know if I’m visualizing correctly?

Dear Anisa – (Re: It only takes 17 seconds of pure-belief to launch a creation) So, does this include writing with a pure thought for 17 seconds then? Also can you give me tips on how to actually visualize for 17 seconds straight and actually staying focused? And, how do we know we are actually visualizing? I do get a mental image but it’s like it’s pushed to the back of my mind, and not clear like seeing through my eyes, if that makes sense? – Peppa

Hello Peppa,

OH YES… Writing is a fantastic way to get to 17 seconds of pure-belief! I suggest setting a timer (I usually set my timer for 10 minutes) and speed-write – allow yourself to flow positive, intentional, grateful thoughts towards what you want and intend to create.

If something negative comes out, notice it and finish the sentence but then scratch it out and redo that thought, until you get it just right.

Regarding the second part of your question: (staying focused, am I really doing it right.)

Instead of ‘visualization’, perhaps ‘forecasting’ is a better description.

First, let’s look at your primary learning and living modality. Are you Visual, Auditory or Kinesthetic mostly?

Some of us are simply not visual and instead we hear and/or feel the future as opposed to ‘seeing’ it. This is absolutely the perfect way for you. The goal is to forecast your future the same way you might choose your evening’s activities.

For example, how do you determine what to cook for dinner? Do you see the dinner you are about to create before you reach for the ingredients? Or do you have an inner-dialogue that directs you accordingly? Or perhaps you do not see/hear or talk to yourself but you have an ‘impression’ that you follow, a feeling that guides you to organize your cooking expedition?

While everyone uses all learning styles (visual / auditory/ kinesthetic /olfactory-gustatory) to some degree, one is usually more dominant than another.

If you see the dinner, then visualization may be the right word for you.

If you have an internal dialogue, then it’s possible that talking and dialoguing your way through it is more akin to your learning style and thus will enable you to feel more confident when forecasting your intentions.
If you experience a feeling or an impression, then imagine the end result and allow the impression or feeling to forecast your future consciously.

Now, let’s look at the last part of your question, possibly the most important aspect that you may not even be aware can be changed. You wrote: “I do get a mental image but it’s like it’s pushed to the back of my mind, and not clear like seeing through my eyes, if that makes sense?”

Yes, it makes perfect sense. Where we store our images including our past and future memories can be very telling about whether or not we are actively engaging in pure-belief or not. For example, you shared with us that your mind stores the ‘image’ of the future you want ‘pushed to the back of your mind’ and by reading through the lines, I guesstimate that you recognize this is not quite right; you sense that because it’s pushed to the back of your mind there’s something amiss about the visualization. Thus the question, “How do I know I’m actually visualizing correctly?”

Okay… here’s what you want to do. In the official vernacular, you want to do an NLP (Neuro-Linguistics Programming) process known as adjusting the sub-modalities. In layman’s terms, you want to pack-up and move where you store your ‘desired goals’ to be in the same warehouse as your ‘completed items’.

Let me explain WHY… No, let me illustrate…

Think of something in your life that brings you joy and pleasure and that you are 100% certain exists.

Now, where is that thought located? Is it inside or outside your body? (No, don’t think too much about it, just answer.) Is it in color or black and white? Is it close up or in the distance, straight ahead, behind you or to the left/right? What is its shape and size? If any of the following is applicable – describe its texture, temperature, tone, dialogue, melody, sensation, contrast. Is it bright or dim, clear or muffled? Does it have a smell or a taste? What? Is it moving or still, 3D or flat? Allow yourself to really ponder these questions. When you are satisfied, write it down – “My certain manifestation is…”

Now… tell me what did you have for breakfast? Is that your usual morning breakfast? What would be an unusual breakfast for you? (Don’t skip this… there’s a method to my madness.)

Okay, now that we’ve discussed your breakfast we can move on.

Think of a goal that you hope to manifest. Choose something that you want but lack real confidence about achieving.

Now, where is that thought located? Is it inside or outside your body? (No, don’t think too much about it, just answer.) Is it in color or black and white? Is it close up or in the distance, straight ahead, behind you or to the left/right? What is its shape and size? If any of the following is applicable – describe its texture, temperature, tone, dialogue, melody, sensation, contrast. Is it bright or dim, clear or muffled? Does it have a smell or a taste? What? Is it moving or still, 3D or flat? Allow yourself to really ponder these questions. When you are satisfied, write it down – “My uncertain manifestation is…”

Compare where you stored your CERTAIN experience with where you store your UNCERTAIN experience. You will inevitably discover that there are differences. Perhaps they are vastly different or perhaps there is only a few subtle differences. For the purpose of clarify, you may journal about the differences.

Next, imagine that your “uncertain goal” is morphing into the same location, look, feel, sound, texture, shape, size, etc. as your “certain manifestation.” Take your time and trust your imagination – encourage yourself to intentionally move it.

If it gets ‘murky’ – write it down; itemizing each descriptive element and one by one applying the CERTAIN descriptives to the UNCERTAIN goal.

Make note of how that feels? Does it feel odd or scary? Or, does it feel more certain and exciting?

If you feel weird and like – “OH no, what if this really happens now?!?!” It may be time to reconsider what you say you really want and the price you are willing (or not willing) to pay to have it.

If you feel more certain, hopeful, and like – “that visualization rocked”, then relax and begin to prepare to receive what you’ve just ordered.

Try this exercise – try it on something you REALLY, REALLY want and something that you would be happy to have, but content without. See what happens!

The Law of Attraction – Simple is Better!

“Nothing in the Kingdom of Heaven is lost!” my son, Parker, repeated over and over as he walked around the house looking for the lost remote for the flip-flopping, mini-r/c car that Santa left under the tree. A few moments later I hear, “YES!” and I know exactly what just happened, or I think I do. Without looking up from my book, I say, “good… you found it.” He says, “not yet… but I will… YES! COOL! YES!”

This time I look up to see if he’s doing what I think he’s doing. Sure enough… he’s celebrating! Even though he’s NOT yet found the remote, he’s celebrating as if he is already playing with it.

I revel in my own delight watching such a brilliant display of conscious creation. “Wow! He’s intentionally applying the Law of Attraction!” Feeling as proud as any LOA-Loving-Mommie ever, I congratulate myself for talking about the Law of Attraction to my children. And, now realizing he was actually listening?!? Oh, so delicious!

I remember thinking, “Why can’t I do that? After all, it’s just that easy.”

Most of the time, we tend to over-look the simple as not worthy of our attention; opting instead for the more complicated instructions and beliefs that only hard work and paying our dues will result in success.

However, this is often contradictory to what we experience every day – that simple is better: brushing our teeth prevents cavities, smiling feels better than frowning, and eating fresh vegetables right out of the fridge, for example are not only simpler, but better for us! Likewise, applying the Law of Attraction does not have to be complicated. In fact, it’s very simple.

There’s a principle called Occam’s razor (named after mediaeval philosopher and scientist, William of Occam), who put forth the theory that “the best solution to a problem is often and almost always the simplest solution.” Though the principle may seem rather trivial, it is essential for model building. In other words, nature wants life to be simple. With this in mind, it isn’t necessary to do everything the ‘hard way’ or the most complicated way. In fact, not only is it not necessary but it’s inefficient as well.

For example, when we utilize the Law of Attraction to make each day a little easier and more fulfilling, we simplify our lives. By leveraging the power of the Universal Principles to create the small things, we can build our LOA muscles. Eventually, when our conscious creation muscle becomes strong enough, we’ll be able to attract the big wins too. Here’s what we know – there has never been a million dollars created, a soul-mate found, a dream job landed or a rock-hard body experienced that didn’t have it’s conception, gestation, and creation as a result of the Law of Attraction, regardless of the person’s awareness of the law.

Thus, if you can master the law of attraction with the everyday ‘things’ then the championship manifestations will be easier as well. You wouldn’t pick up your first golf club today and next week show up at the Pro-golf tournament expecting a position next to Tiger on the tour. Likewise, the odds are not likely in your favor that you will manifest the lottery just because you’ve learned that “what you think about, you bring about.”

Mastering the art of attraction, like any skill, requires practice. And, just like a golfer that spends hours at the golf range practicing his swing, the more you practice your ‘swing’ the better you’ll get at the game of attraction. So what’s your swing? It’s using your thoughts and emotions to intentionally vibrate in harmony with an end result that you desire. Using our golf analogy, a golfer swings the club to hit the ball. A Law of Attraction practitioner intentionally vibrates (uses thoughts and emotions) to attract a desire.

For example, one way to practice your LOA swing is to pre-celebrate the ‘little wins.’ The act of pre-celebrating produces a vibration that is energetically and magnetically attractive to victory, passion, excitement, enthusiasm and other fabulous experiences. Thus, intentionally celebrating a goal prior to experiencing it is an act of intentional vibration.

For example…

Yes! I celebrate a beautiful day filled with fabulous conversation and uplifting experiences.

Yes! I celebrate with delight, as I enjoy an awesome day at work. I thoroughly enjoyed my co-workers today and had very productive and uplifting meetings. I have a great sense of accomplishment from my day today!

Yes! I celebrate the healthiest check-up my doctor has ever given me… “You’re in great shape! You’re as fit as a teenager.”

Yes! I frolic with joy, and celebrate the smooth flow of cars as I travel to and from my job. I am grateful for the comfortable drive and opportunity to be at peace and in silence with myself and with life.

Yes! I rise joyously and in awe of an incredibly recuperative night’s sleep. I slept better than a baby… I slept like I was on a cloud in heaven. I celebrate feeling energetic and alive!

Now, if that doesn’t sound exciting enough to practice your swing on, remember this is practice and you want to get in a lot of it!

Here’s another idea – how about pre-celebrating unexpected things that you can be indifferent to? Things that you don’t necessarily care a great deal about, but when they appear you’ll most assuredly know it was because YOU celebrated them and thereby intentionally attracted them into your experience.

This is an exercise that Abraham of Jerry and Esther Hicks fame, teaches. My first practice swing was to pre-celebrate hummingbirds! I imagined their tiny little bodies hovering around me. I delighted in the idea of having them come into my garden. I imagined elegant hummingbirds all around me.

As you can probably imagine, within days I started noticing ‘signs’ of hummingbirds. For example, at home depot I went to grab a garden hose and a humming-bird feeder fell on the floor. Then, a girlfriend sent me a sweet thank you note on what else, but humming-bird stationery, a magazine that I subscribe to (not bird watcher’s gazette) was delivered with a featured article inside titled “hummingbird friendly gardens”. I also remember overhearing a conversation while I was out about how a hummingbird flew in this woman’s face and just hovered there for a few seconds outside the store.

After seeing and hearing so much about hummingbirds, I began to wonder where the REAL hummingbirds were. I actually felt inadequate like maybe I wasn’t good enough to attract the real thing! So, I decided to really practice my swing this time by celebrating them. I celebrated hummingbirds for a few more minutes and this time allowed myself to really feel excited and passionate about them. I even jumped up and down this time and I celebrated the wonder of such an incredibly talented, beautiful, masterpiece as the hummingbird. The seemingly fragile but in reality fierce and territorial hummingbird; the gift from God that scientists study to discover and inquire into how we too can reveal the art of hovering the way the hummingbird does. YES! I love hummingbirds, God’s beautiful creatures. I celebrate the wonder of hummingbirds! Yes… hummingbirds! Hummingbirds! Hummingbirds! Beautiful hummingbirds!

I bet you can guess what happened the very next day! Hummingbirds! Hummingbirds! Glorious hummingbirds!

So… let’s make it easy:

3 easy steps to Intentionally Harness the Law of Attraction and The Law of Detachment

1.    Identify what you want and Pre-Celebrate it now
2.    Detach & Let it Go
3.    Prepare to Receive

Remember to assume the best, no matter what occurs because the Universe has your back and all is well all the time. (You have to choose this mindset and at some point your manifestations will catch up to it.) Then, when you notice it’s not quite what you wanted, simply “Course Correct” by pre-celebrating the next edition until you get it more right.

Remember, simple is better and all you really have to do is CELEBRATE and watch what happens!

To wrap up the story… The doorbell rings. Parker says, “Who is it?” And I hear my mom say, “It’s your Mimi!” The door opens and Parker and Ashlyn run to give Mimi a hug. I kiss mom hello, fix some tea, and we settle into the couch to visit. I realize there’s a small lump in the cushion. I put my tea on the side table, stand and lift the cushion to find the remote to Parker’s remote-control car. Of course, he celebrated some more. We watch his performance as he makes that little R/C spin, flip-flop and celebrate its own existence!

Lessons in Detachment 7 of 10: If What You’re Doing Isn’t Working, Do Something Different

Why are we studying detachment? Isn’t detachment just a matter of learning to “Let Go and Let the Divine” work in our lives? Yes. However, knowing that we must “let go” consistently and actually doing it are two different things. Stress, for example, in many cases is a clear sign that you are attached to something and in oppositional resistance to your real desires. Everything you desire is in vibrational harmony with the peace and appreciation that comes from being detached and allowing (yes, everything). By practicing the ideas in this series you will engage in consistent peace and more readily know that all is well, no matter what. Master detachment and you will master the art of intentional creation.

This brings us to the topic of today’s lesson in detachment. It is a simple idea really: If what you are doing isn’t working, do something different. This too is an NLP (Neuro-Linguistics programming) pre-supposition. At first consideration, this may seem trite and elementary, as we all know this in theory. However, being detached includes maintaining our clear, connected state of flow in all situations. Thus, if you can make this idea, “If what I’m doing isn’t working, I will choose to do something different” as an ethos, or a way of living, then flow, connection, solution oriented thinking and action oriented behaving becomes a more natural path.

If you want something different, you will have to do something different, and continue to vary your behaviors until you get the result you really want. This underlying assumption automates your intention to be flexible. And, we learned in Lessons in Detachment Video 5, the most flexible person has the most power and influence in any situation. Thus, the more you accept and apply this idea, “If what I’m doing isn’t working, I just need to do something different until I find the method that works” the more detached and vibrationally aligned with your true desires, you become.

In practice, this idea assumes there’s a solution to every problem if you’re prepared to keep looking until you find it. For example, if a person wants to lose weight and get healthy, they must first recognize, “What I’m doing isn’t working, I need to do something different”. If a person wants to succeed in school or succeed or in business, they may have to first realize, “I will have to do things differently than I have before.”

As students of the law of attraction, we’ve learned that what we focus upon expands. And this idea “If what you’re doing isn’t working, do something different. And, you have to vary you behaviors until you manifest the result you desire” shifts our perspective from what’s not working, to “I’m willing to experiment until I find the formula that works.” It’s literally an attitude adjustment and a time proven formula for success.

The most successful people that have ever lived think this way. Thomas Edison, held over 1000 patents including a voice recorder, a battery for an electric car, recorded music, movies, the light-bulb, and of course he was the originator of the crazy concept that we could ALL have electricity inside our homes, businesses, and factories. His ideas, at the time, were completely unrealistic and even absurd. He was successful, by his own admission, not because he was a genius but because he believed success was 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration. He once said, “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” This is the exact same ethos as, “If what I’m doing isn’t working, I choose to do something different.”

I could go on and on about how the most successful people that have ever lived fully embrace and live by this idea. Possibly the most famous of Einstein’s quotes is “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” Yet, in our everyday lives we are often insane with repetitive behaviors.

How many people, now be honest, are constantly late for appointments? Is it because you do not possess the capacity to be on time? Not likely. The same old thinking, “Oh… there’s plenty of time” for example’ will produce the same old results, “I can’t believe we are going to be late again!”

What about your relationships? How many times have you tried the same old way to get your needs met only to be disappointed in the lack of change? The same old thinking, “I have to throw a fit to get any results” will produce the same old experience, “They never listen to me”.

The problem is that we get attached and disconnected when we start to feel as though we are out of options, as though it must be a capacity issue; a fear that we or the person we are frustrated with does not possess the capacity for growth, change, or success.

What about money?? How many do we know that desperately want to be financially secure and attract prosperity, yet they continue to behave irresponsibly, over-indulging and behaving recklessly with their money?

This repeated pattern of “I’m affirming and believing in my financial unlimitedness” followed by “I’m so wealthy I can go ahead and spend a bunch of money… “followed by “I cannot believe I’m over-drawn again! I cannot believe I’m such a terrible money manager. When will I ever manifest the prosperity that is supposed to be mine? I just don’t get it! Maybe, I’m just not good enough or it’s not meant to be for me?”

Without the idea, “If what you’re doing isn’t working do something different”, you begin to question your capacity; your innate ability to create and achieve the success you really desire.

When you question your capacity, you are questioning your very core; you are questioning whether or not you actually possess the ability, the talent, and the deservedness to experience love, wealth, health and success. Just the act of wondering whether or not you deserve it, immediately causes distress. The stress of “I’m not good enough” or any derivative thereof is another example of attachment. You see, you shut down the flow of possibility; the flow of the Divine, every time you even ponder for a moment – “what’s wrong with me that I can’t get what I want?” This is another way that we get attached to the outcome. In that moment, you are creating the opposite of what you really desire. And, STRESS is your indicator that you are attached and not practicing the law of allowing.

Here’s a decision that I encourage you to make: Do not question your capacity, question your methodology. If you are not ‘on time’ it’s not your capacity it’s your methodology. If your relationship life stinks, it’s not your capacity that’s the problem, but the way you go about relating to others that’s in question. If you have money troubles, it’s not your capacity for creating wealth that’s in question; it’s the way you go about attracting, managing, and making it that’s in question.

One word of advice – most people will fall short on implementing this idea because it requires effort. And, it requires thinking to embrace the truth that there’s another way, another solution to every problem. Your work will be to stick with it until you find the choice and the behavior that creates the fulfillment you seek.

If what you are doing isn’t working, do something different. Be willing to vary your behavior until you get it, & don’t question your capacity, question your methodology. This one idea – can create an avalanche of prosperity, love, and fulfillment for you. Now, let’s put it into practice.

1) Consider something that you feel STRESSED about.
2) What are you doing?
3) What are 10 ways to do it differently?
4) Choose one.
Imagine the future as you would like it, while trying on this new option/behavior.
5) Go do it.
6) Did it work? Yes, keep doing it. No, do something different.

Lessons in the Law of Detachment: Video 6 of 10 Choice is Better Than No Choice

The Law of Attraction cannot be employed without the Law of Detachment. They go hand in hand. And, the Law of Detachment says you must relinquish your attachment to have your desires manifest.

This means that the Essence of detachment is Equanimity (a state of being centered, faithful, aligned and serene, no matter what you see or experience.) In Lessons in Detachment, we will explore exactly what it means to intentionally detach from the outcome and HOW exactly to do it. Be sure to explore all of the detachment videos and you will have a greater understanding of how to finally Let Go, and Let God, create miracles in your life.

Everything you desire is aligned with peace. If you want

to create more love in your life, then obtain greater peace in your heart. If you want to create more prosperity, then obtain greater peace in your heart. Being detached from the
outcome produces that peace in your heart. However, detachment can be tricky and slippery and that’s why I’ve created this series; to help you take The Law of Detachment to a deeper level. When you fully embrace the law of detachment, you become a better manifestor. When you fully understand exactly what it means to remain detached then you leverage the full power of the law of attraction. In fact, you cannot be a masterful creator without integrating detachment.

Now, let’s explore the subject of this lesson on detachment:Choice is better than no choice. (Also an NLP presupposition – a belief that when applied creates a solid foundation upon which to be more intentional and influential in every situation.) Think about this for a moment:“Choice is Better than No Choice.” Now, how do we apply this in our lives to be more allowing; to practice the law of detachment and become more effective conscious creators?

This idea goes hand in hand with the lesson in video 5: The Law of Requisite Variety – translated as the person with the greatest flexibility has the greatest influence.

This idea, that choice is better than no choice helps us to be more flexible in the moment. We get to choose how we respond to each situation; thus taking ownership of our experience.

One of the key tenants that helped me to live a more intentional life, I learned from Jack Canfield in about 1992. He shared with me his equation: E+R= O (the Event plus our Response equals the Outcome. Event + My Response = The Outcome) It is not the event alone that determines the outcome of a situation but the event plus our response to
that event that determines the outcome.

For example, there will be times when you feel you are backed into a corner with no way out. We may feel that you have NO choice. But, you ALWAYS, without exception have choices. It’s a matter of choosing which option is right for you. Even when you are unable to physically choose something different, you still have the choice of your emotions. In fact you have many choices.

Choice is better than no choice – teaches us to be mindful of the truth that we always have options. There’s fight, flight, freeze, and flow, for example.

We can fight! We can strike like a defensive snake! And, sometimes that feels like the best choice.

We can flee or take flight. Or, we can freeze, until we figure out how to respond.

Heck – sometimes it’s even better to play dead as a choice!

Even Playing Dead is a Choice... “Ueghhh…. I’m just going to roll-over and play dead for a minute.”

Or we can also learn to choose to FLOW! We can choose to go with the flow and practice the art of the aikido way. This is a skill that we can develop as we begin to fully embrace

the truth that choice is better than no choice. And, the choice of flow is the most aligned with the law of detachment and the art of allowing.

Let me explain. Morihei Ueshiba, the famous martial artist and founder of Aikido, believed that it was important to extend love and compassion to all, and especially to those who seek to harm others. Aikido is often translated as “the way of unifying with life energy” or as “the way of harmonious spirit.”

Ueshiba’s goal was to create a martial art that practitioners could use to defend themselves while also protecting their attacker from injury. Out of this philosophy and spiritual path, was born Aikido, a martial art that teaches the student to receive an attack while harmlessly redirecting it. In an ideal resolution, not only is the receiver unharmed, but so is the attacker.

When considering your choices, the highest most aligned choice, will align with no harm across all channels. Thus, flow and the aikido way is one option that uses the energy of the situation for a more enlightened and harmonious outcome. By adopting the idea that choice is better than no choice and combining it with the person with the greatest

flexibility has the greatest influence, you will find yourself living more in the flow of life more often and thus detached and allowing.

I’d like to give you some examples of how to employ Choice is Better than No choice.

You’ve heard of Murphy’s law?

Everything than can go wrong, will go wrong – that’s the summation of Murphy’s law.

When we remember that it is our response to the event that creates the outcome and we always have a choice as to how we respond, then we turn Murphy’s law upside down. For

example, a more harmonious choice would be, “Even if it goes wrong, I choose to see it as perfectly imperfect.”

Another example of a limiting belief (Murphy’s Law) turned upside down, is “Nothing is ever as simple as it first seems.” A choice that is more aligned with the law of detachment would be,“Even if nothing is as simple as it seems, I choose to be comfortable with complexity.”

Here’s one more. The limiting belief that “every activity takes more time than you have” becomes, “even if it takes more time than I have, I choose to eventually have enough time.”

It’s very important that I make the point that Choice is Better than No Choice means having more freedom, flexibility and personal responsibility for your life. All of which are essential for leveraging the power of detachment. I heard a story once that has stayed with me and helped me to understand that even in the most difficult of situations, I

have the power to choose how I respond.

There was once a ruthless warlord that captured a town where there were many monks. The warlord was infamous for killing without cause, slaughtering people for no reason and many monks fled to the hills.

But, one monk remained in prayer. The warlord came upon him and with rage-filled annoyance said, “What are you doing? Don’t you know who I am? I can run my sword through you without blinking an eye.”

The monk finished his prayer, rose
slowly, looked the warlord in the eyes and calmly said,“Don’t you know who I am? You can run your sword through me and I will never blink an eye.”

You see, we get to choose how we respond to even the most difficult situations. And, choice means greater freedom and flexibility; both of which produce greater solutions and enact the law of allowing. How do you practice this?


  • Consider a time when you felt backed into a corner without options.
  • Re-frame it using this new belief: Choice is better than no choice.
  • Consider how it might have been different had you believed that you had options.
  • Ask yourself: How could I have responded with Fight? Flight? Freeze? Flow?
  • Now go into your future.
  • Think of a time when you mightfeel backed into a corner or as though you have no options.
  • Knowing there’s always a choice as to how you respond, what are your options?

Lessons in Detachment: Video 3 of 10 – Every Behavior Has a Positive Intent

Hello! This is Anisa Aven and this is vibrational video coaching #3 of 10 in my series – Lessons in Detachment. The Law of Detachment says you must relinquish your attachment to have your desires manifest. This means that the Essence of detachment is Equanimity – one of being centered – Faithful – Aligned – and Serene – no matter what you see or experience. Detachment can be the most troubling aspect of conscious creation. In Lessons in Detachment – we will explore exactly what it means to intentionally detach from the outcome and HOW exactly to do it. Be sure to explore all of the detachment videos and you will have a greater understanding of how to finally Let Go, and Let God… create miracles in your life.

Detachment is the art of allowing whatever is, to be perfect in and of itself. Which brings us to the subject of this video: Every Behavior Has a Positive Intent (In NLP – Neurolinguistics Programming – this is a key presupposition – this is a BELIEF that when implemented will provide you a steady, stable, and detached foundation.

This one and the next Video/Belief in this series (video #4) will not automatically go over well or easily. There will be many arguments that this is NOT true and much evidence that could refute this idea. Perhaps you’re even saying, “what about lying, cheating, stealing, or mass murder? Are you saying that murderers have a positive intent?” No, hurting others is never a positive or acceptable behavior. And, that’s not the aim of this assumption.

However, there’s always a positive intent underneath the behavior. People believe they will gain something positive or they would NOT choose the behavior. This idea that underneath every behavior, no matter how misguided the behavior, no matter how wrong the behavior, no matter how horrific the behavior – underneath it the person has some belief that there will be a positive gain or they would not do it. Thus, this assumption that every behavior has a positive intent allows us to bypass the judgments (that cause disconnection) and bypass our reactions and instead look for the positive intent underneath the behavior. This re-focusing on the question, “what did they hope to gain from this?” shifts our perspective to one of awareness and potential compassion. When we find the positive intent, we learn to allow people to be people, and that ALLOWANCE is the art of detachment.

Okay – I’ve explained the assumption but so what? How will this help us be detached from the outcome? How will accepting this idea support us in utilizing the power of our minds and the law of attraction? The answer lies in our relationships. ALL emotional turmoil is disconnection from the Divine. And, what’s the cause of much of our disconnection – our emotional turmoil? Relationships! It’s our family, love, co-workers, neighbors and even the relationship we have with the world at large. When we are ill-equipped to understand the motives of others, we easily disconnect from source and when we are disconnected, we attach to our assumptions, our desires, our need to be right, what we believe another should or should not do, what we need from our relationship(s) etc. And ALL attachment, no matter how justified we are causes disconnection from Source. It’s this disconnection that halts our Divine Good – our ability to manifest our true desires.

The Course in Miracles says, “Forgiveness is the central theme that runs throughout salvation.” And, “Forgiveness is the key to happiness.” We cannot leverage the law of allowing without mastering the art of forgiveness. When we integrate this assumption that Every Behavior Has a Positive Intent, we easily slip into compassion and forgiveness – two necessary ingredients for connection and detachment.

This idea That Every Behavior Has a Positive Intent along with the next assumption in this series (People Do the Best they Can – be sure to watch video #4 in this series) can make a significant difference in your ability to detach from the negativity in your relationships. You will find yourself more willing to love and forgive. So, let’s talk about how to implement this idea.

First, understand that just because there’s always going to be a positive intent – some idea that there will be a pay-off to the behavior – does not mean that every behavior is the best way to fulfill a need. It is also not meant to absolve a person of their hurtful actions – they are still responsible for their choices.

Let’s apply this more deeply. For example, consider the man that cheats on his wife. What’s the positive intent under the behavior? Perhaps it’s to experience adrenaline, or the rush of getting away with something. Or since we are just guessing here – perhaps his wife is frigid or crazy or abusive and he just needs to feel alive and loved again. Now, let’s look at it from her point of view. What’s the positive intent underneath whacking her husband with a crow-bar? Perhaps it’s retribution – that internal need to stand up for ourselves, to feel important, special, powerful or acknowledged. Or perhaps she’s afraid for her children and how she will survive without him.

Now remember we are NOT ever saying the behavior is positive or the best way to fulfill our needs but we are choosing to act as if, there’s some positive intent underneath every behavior. And, by figuring this out, we can more readily inspire and create change AND practice detachment.

What about for ourselves – how do we apply this to our lives? Here’s one example, let’s say you want to lose weight, but you have a bad day and all you really want to do is have another piece of chocolate. The behavior is self-sabotaging – eating sweets while trying to lose weight, will not help your cause. However, when we look at ourselves in the mirror and we only see the behavior, it’s hard to love ourselves; we see the failure not the person.

Yet, when we look at the intention underneath the behavior, “I just want to feel better. I just want to experience the deliciousness of life.” There’s a moment there that satisfies our need for yumminess, our need for freedom, our need for attending to our inner desires without judgment, fear, or deprivation. And, by identifying THAT need – THAT positive INTENT – we can a) choose to have compassion and b) choose to find another way to meet that Need. For example, “What else can I do to experience the deliciousness of life?”

Our objective becomes LOOK for the positive intent under the behavior, find a healthy solution for meeting that need. Here’s a resource you may find helpful – to gain a better understanding of our needs, I suggest reviewing Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Human Needs. (Search online and you’ll find a visual map.)

By reviewing and studying this model you become more masterful at identifying the positive intent under the behavior. For example, when good people do bad things, often it’s a basic need (Physiological Need – Survival Need) they are trying to meet. I.E. A man steals a loaf of bread to feed his family.

Perhaps, a woman betrays her husband trying to experience more love. Or a philanderer betrays a mate trying to experience the need for achievement or conquest. Our objective is to preserve that intent (that need) by attending to it in a healthier manner and not only can we change our personal behavior without loss but we gain the ability to experience compassion and forgiveness – essential ingredients for practicing the law of detachment.

Here’s an exercise for you: Consider a past transgression against you. Re-frame it using this new assumption. Ask yourself: What was the need or positive intent they were trying to fulfill? Knowing now that they were trying to fill a need, albeit poorly, how would I feel if I had that need?

And, be sure to apply this idea to yourself as well. Extend this exercise to consider a past mistake/ poor choice that you made. Re-frame it using this new belief. Ask yourself: What was the need I was trying to fill? Knowing now that I was just trying to fill a need, what options do I have for filling that need with a more positive behavior?

How to Infuse Certainty into your dreams for successful manifesting.

Certainty is pure faith that no matter WHAT you see or WHAT you witness or WHAT you hear – ALL is WELL and ALIGNED with The Divine Order.

Certainty is understanding that it is impossible for you to have any wants, needs, or unfulfilled desires. It is IMPOSSIBLE for the Divine Order to NOT support your highest and best good; your most dominant dreams and desires.

In the video coaching segment, I ask you to do an exercise to illustrate how doubts – even one doubt can weaken your entire system, while intentional confidence and conscious certainty, can make all the difference to the fulfillment of your desire.

World class athletes know the power of certainty, they understand what happens when doubt and fear are allowed to pervade their thoughts in critical moments. It’s the meaning of the phrase, ‘he choked.’ It’s what happens when we are choking on our own self-conscious thoughts and doubts and allow those fears to cause us to break-down in confidence in the moment and fumble the ball, miss the shot, etc.

One doubt – one fear – can be lethal if it happens at the right time/moment.

An exercise:
– Find/create a photo/collage that represents what you want.
– Look at it and take notes about how it makes you feel (both negatively and positively.)
– Then, intentionally CHOOSE more faith/certainty/confidence.
– If you can’t find faith – then use Emotional Freedom technique to eliminate the doubt.
