We were born with the unlimited potential to intentionally create (use the law of attraction) to manifest all of our heart's desires. Together, as Conscious Leaders guided by the Divine, we have the Mind Power necessary to co-create a sustainable, harmonious, peaceful, and prosperous world.  And, we can do this while also attracting and creating a passionate, loving, rich, healthy life with all of our personal dreams fulfilled.

7 Keys to Manifesting: Key 5 – Resilience & Expectation

From the 7 Keys to Manifesting Your Dreams, Key 5: Resilience & Expectation
Video 1 of 2:

Video 2 of 2:

Resilience
When something goes wrong do you tend to bounce and say ‘bring it on’ or do you tend to fall apart and say, “I give up”?

Many of you have fantastic, majestic goals of vast proportions. And, many of you just want your simple needs, like plenty of money to pay your bills or take a vacation with the kids fulfilled.

Whatever goal you have, it’s important to PLAN for resilience. Previously, I’ve suggested that you take out your goal and reverse engineer each milestone along the way. Then, with the milestone in hand, envision and add vibrational life to it – energizing it with your thoughts, beliefs, and intentions.

Now, I do not want to suggest that you ‘plan’ for problems but I do want to encourage you to PLAN for how you intend to BOUNCE back when setbacks, obstacles, or challenges present themselves. And, they will – not because you are destined for difficulty but because CHANGE requires transformation; change requires your life to be altered, modified, and adjusted in some way in order for you to receive that which you desire.

You see with every change you seek, there must be a change in your current reality to make room for the new reality.

For example, how do you create a better job without leaving your current one? At some point, even if you manifest a ‘fun-filled going away party,’ you still have to leave the old job behind.

Likewise, if you want to re-create your ideal relationship, you will have to leave the current relationship behind, emotionally and spiritually, if not actually physically before you can birth a new or renewed relationship.

Imagine achieving your ideal health and wellness without changing your physical fitness or eating habits. Can it really be done? Sure, we’re unlimited – but how many people do you know that have actually achieved total wellness while sitting on their couch just thinking good thoughts?

Thus, all change and creation requires a willingness to ‘pay the price’ for receiving the goal. Do not mistake what I’m saying here. I’m not saying it HAS to be difficult or HAS to cost too much for you to achieve your dreams. However, I AM saying that you will be met with conditions that may appear as a challenge before you will have the opportunity to make room for the goal to be fulfilled.

Your work is to be resilient and choose to BOUNCE with the change. Choose to know each ‘challenge’ is nothing more than one change that is occurring on the way to the fulfillment of your dream.

If you know ahead of time, that change must occur and you choose to be resilient before you EVER get there, then you are valiantly ahead of the game. While others will be saying, “Why me? Why is this happening like this?” You’ll be saying, “Bring it on! I’m ready! I’m strong and nothing will stop me from achieving my dream.”
PLAN for RESILIENCE! Make up your mind ahead of time how you intend to BOUNCE!

Expectation

Remember, what we put our attention upon expands. We attract into our lives whatever we think and believe the most.

Now, I group Expectation with Resilience as the 5th key because we want to Expect things to go our way but we must choose to be resilient when the outcome isn’t exactly what we intentionally expected.

You see, we often forget that we also get what we expect. As intentional creators, we launch dreams of colorful master-pieces filled with magnificent stories of lavish abundance, extraordinary love affairs, accomplishment and accolades. This is important and we have fun visualizing our successes.

Then, we go about our day ‘expecting’ what we’ve always expected…

… oh, this is going to be a hard conversation. She’s never easy to talk to.
…oh, there’s no way I can learn all this material by the deadline.
…oh, I’m not good at this type of project.
…oh, I’m surrounded by people who just don’t get it.

Do you see where I’m headed here? We have all these insidious ‘ideas’ about ourselves and those around us.

…oh, I hope I get a raise but they keep saying we should expect cut-backs.
…oh, my mate has never remembered our anniversary.
…oh, she’s not going to do what she says. I just can’t depend upon her word.

Insidious expectations – they quietly permeate so many of our waking moments that we disregard them as nothing more than normal mental banter.

However, thinker beware, these thoughts are not just benign chitchat!

One flea may not be a problem, but twenty become 200, become 2000, become 200,000 and very, very quickly become a malignant menace.

Insidious expectations, left unaddressed will also multiply. And, like a vibrational parasite, these negative expectations suck the life out of our positive intentions.

It’s important to know ahead of time how you will handle the outcome of negative expectations. (How will I be resilient?)

We also want to become aware of our fears, doubts, and limiting ideas that inspire the negative expectation.

I uncover my fears and doubts by asking simple questions:

- What are my negative expectations?
- What am I afraid will happen?
- What will disappoint me?
- What’s the worst thing that could happen here?
- What could go wrong?
- Then, I ask – am I afraid or concerned that these things will happen?

Once you’ve discovered the fear, worry, or doubt – you can shift it by simply focusing upon the opposite of the fear.
For example:

…oh, I hope I get a raise but they keep saying we should expect cut-backs.
–>becomes – I choose to be hopeful and trust that the raise is already mine.
…oh, my mate has never remembered our anniversary.
–>becomes –“Why is it that my mate remembers our anniversary?” Or, if that’s too far-fetched try, “I choose to relax, ask for my needs to be met and I enjoy being pleasantly surprised.”
…oh, she’s not going to do what she says. I just can’t depend upon her word.
–>becomes “I’m willing to trust in her ability to see this commitment through.”

Once you identify the negative idea, you want to shift your attention to something more aligned. For example, “I am hopeful.” Or “I am willing to forego all preconceived ideas.” Or “I choose to have a beginner’s mind.”

Then, if you use EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) any recurring limiting expectations could be eliminated and released forever! In fact, I highly encourage you to consider how you go through your day.

Do quiet but sinister expectations sabotage your joy? Are these seemingly normal thoughts eating away at your  dreams without you realizing it’s even happening?

Remember, when we go ahead and deal with the potential danger of one ‘flea’, it’s far easier than waging war against the consequence of fleas fornicating in multiplicity. (That does sound really nasty!) The same goes double for our negative expectations!

Get rid of them now and get aligned with your positive dreams! Then, choose to be resilient and bounce with each change. Follow this bounce with an intentionally directed expectation of Hope, Faith, and eager expectation!

Insidious Limiting Beliefs – How to find them and what to do with them

Category: attract relationship, conscious creation, emotional freedom technique, law of attraction, limiting beliefs, manifest a mate — Anisa @ 3:22 pm

QUICK MANIFESTING MORSELS
With Anisa Aven

Q: “I have a question on breaking down a goal (mine is
getting my soul-mate). How do you know what you should do? I
don’t want to go out in a sense of “panic” like “am I doing
the right thing?” And, then go home perhaps disappointed. Do
you get a “hint” beforehand or what?
– C. San Diego

A: It’s important to understand that if you felt confident
and at ease, then you would not have the question ‘am I
doing the right thing?’

Thus, the important issue is what’s causing that question to
come to the surface in the first place?

Do you know what the biggest relationship repellant is?

I bet you can guess, can’t you?

—> Desperation and Disappointment

Let’s face it.  We’ve felt the creepiness that exudes from
people that are desperate.  There’s a disturbing atmosphere
surrounding them; an unpleasant stench practically transmits
from their very being.  We sense it and are mutually
repulsed by it when they are so worried and desperate for
something that they practically pant with anxiousness and
erratic intensity.

What’s the picture you get when you think about the
following?

- Try going to a bank for a mortgage loan when you feel
desperate about avoiding homelessness for you and your
family.

- Try taking the BAR exam, again, when you feel desperate
that you must pass or else face complete humiliation and
failure.

- Try a new diet and exercise routine when you feel fraught
with the memories of past failures and your high school
reunion coming up.

- Try going to a singles event and at first, confident that
you are putting your best self forward  only to feel the
ticking of your biological clock reverberating within
reminding you with every passing moment that you are one
minute closer to never having a family.

Now, for most reading this article, you’ll think, “That’s
not me.  I don’t reek with desperation.  I might feel a
little worried or anxious at times but who doesn’t?!? I’m
not desperate!?”

My challenge to you is to remember that ANYTHING that pushes
your buttons on ANY level, anything that causes you to
adamantly say ‘That’s not me!,’ is the EXACT negative
emotion and belief insidiously sabotaging your dream. The
real question is not ‘am I doing the right thing’ nor ‘how
will I know?’ but what causes this fear?  What are the
thoughts, fears, and beliefs underneath this question that
make me fearful that I might have to settle for less or
worse, not achieve my dream at all?

Is it something like the following?

I’m afraid I must be doing the wrong thing. And, if I’m
doing it wrong then I will never get it right, never find my
soul-mate, or it’ll take too long.  If it takes too long
then I will be lonely, sad, and pathetic for most of my life
and this is too much to bear.  Maybe, I was just born to be
alone. Maybe, I’m not worthy loving or not deserving of true
love.”

You see, I know the thoughts well, because I’ve had plenty
of limiting and fearful thoughts in my past about everything
from ‘will I ever find my true love’ to ‘how will I ever be
successful’ to … well, you get the idea the list goes on and
on.

First, you want to FACE the fearful, negative thoughts.  Dig
them up and look them square in the eye!  What is the worst
thing this says about me, if this ‘fear’ were to come true?

Usually, in addition to the ‘fear of being alone’, ‘fear of
having to settle’, ‘fear of never finding someone to love as
much as you loved your previous lover,’ etc.   Underneath
these surface fears, will be more destructive thoughts and
beliefs.

I’d like to share with you two types of beliefs to look out
for.

First, look for your core beliefs.  Core beliefs are usually
overarching thoughts that are about ‘you as a person’.  They
will be the limiting beliefs that come up repeatedly
throughout your life such as:

- I’m not good enough.

- I’m not smart enough.

- I’m not worthy.

- I do not deserve.

- I’m too stupid, selfish, ugly, fat, etc.

- They were right, I’ll never amount to anything.

- I can’t do it.  There’s something wrong with me.

- I was born deficient.

- I am unlovable (and so many nasty untruths!)

These are the decisions we made long ago when a parent,
teacher, or authority figure said (or didn’t say), did (or
didn’t do) what we needed in that moment to feel lovable,
worthy, valuable, and deserving.

Guess what?  It’s time to get over it and stop allowing
those nasty moments in our past predict our future
happiness. Now, let’s talk briefly about the second type of
limiting belief.  This one is far more sinister, disguising
itself as our protector.  This second type of limiting
belief is known as the portentous secondary gain.

Secondary gains are elusive; they are tricky, sly, and
difficult to trap unless you really know where to look.
These are the beliefs that we’ve developed as a means of
protecting ourselves from change, disappointment, pain,
hurt, judgment, responsibility, etc.

Examples of secondary gains:

- I want to lose weight but then I’ll just have to buy new
clothes.  And, since I don’t {fill-in-the-blanks- have the
money – like shopping – want to waste my old wardrobe, etc.]
thus, it’s better to stay overweight than to risk not having
any clothes.

- I want a relationship but then I may have to quit my job
because [fill-in-the-blanks- women don’t like my job, men
don’t want their women traveling, making more money than
they do, etc.} thus, it’s better to stay single than have to
lose my job.

- I want a relationship but what if I {fill-in-the-blanks -
get my heart broken again, am cheated on, end up ruining it
and hating myself, etc.}

- I want to be wealthy but then I may have to {fill-in-the-
blanks: pay my family to stay out of my business, learn
about finance, stocks, bonds, and all that ‘rich-folk’
stuff, deal with people only being my friend because they
want my money, suffer the judgment of my loved ones because
I’m wealthy and they aren’t, etc., etc.}  Thus, it’s better
to stay put, than to risk it.

- I want a new, better job but {fill-in-the-blanks -then
I’ll have to learn something new, I’m too old/tired to
change, will have to work hard again and I need a break,
etc.}

- I want to let go of my anger but {fill-in-the-blanks – I’m
afraid that there’s far more difficult emotions like sorrow,
shame, or guilt waiting to overtake me if I let go of my
anger, etc.}

- I want to forgive but {fill-in-the-blanks – if I forgive
then it will happen again, it will let them off too easy,
I’ll be a fool, I might let them back into my life again,
etc.}

Look carefully at ANYTHING that you’ve wanted for a long
time that continues to elude you.  Look carefully at the
benefits to staying put.  I usually ask myself a few
questions about the benefits of staying put, to uncover my
secondary gains.

For example, if you want a relationship you might ask
yourself:

- What are the benefits to not having my soul-mate, right
now?

- How does being alone, keep my safe from harm?

- What would be the worst thing that could happen if I had a
relationship?  Is this something I’m worried about?

- What would I have to give up in order to attend to my
soul-mate?

- What’s the price I’d have to pay in order to make room for
a relationship?  Am I afraid that price might not be worth
it?

Dig deep and you’ll find those secondary gains.  You are
sure to find that there are secondary gains preventing your
success all the while pretending to protect you from the
pain of failure, the heartache of loss, or the torture of
disappointment.

Now, once you have your inventory of limiting beliefs – EFT
the heck out of them (use Emotional Freedom Technique to
eliminate each limiting belief)!  That’s the fastest and
most consistent way I’ve used to get rid of the ridiculous
rationalizations we have for sabotaging ourselves.

Desperation and disappointment are terribly repellant of
your goal; any goal, for that matter.  Therefore, dig a
little deeper than the initial ideas around what makes you
feel anxious or worried.  Discover the REAL reasons you feel
desperate or disappointed, and apply Emotional Freedom
Technique until you feel complete relief.

Once you’ve done this work, the original question, “How
will I know that I’m doing it right?”
will simply be
obsolete.  In fact, that question will seem entirely
irrelevant as you instead start asking questions like, “How
do I want to show up today that will give me the greatest
joy?”
And, “I wonder what adventure spirit has in store for
me today?  I can’t wait!”

This will work – but you do have to do the ‘work’!

Thank you for the honor of supporting you!

Love and light, Anisa Aven

I Do What Must be Done with Zest and Enthusiasm!

Category: Creative Manifesting, LOA doesn't work for me, Videos, conscious creation, emotional freedom technique, law of attraction — Anisa @ 4:16 pm

Quick Manifesting Morsel with Anisa Aven

I Do What Must be Done with Zest and Enthusiasm!!!! (Is this your battle cry? Then read on to find out why it should be.)

It takes 10,000 acorns to produce just three Oak trees.

Now, ask yourself, is that Oak tree exhausted, frustrated,

and weakened because it had to spawn 10,000 seeds before

duplicating itself into another masterpiece?

This is what nature expects regarding creation and

procreation. Think about it – some frogs lay as many as

30,000 eggs to ensure its species. And, to ensure our own

species a healthy man’s sperm count is upwards of 20 million

per milliliter. This means that every successful

spermatozoon fought off somewhere between 90 million and 400

million other eager applicants to become the triumphant one!

Now, what would happen if that Oak Tree just decided,

“10,000 acorns?!? Forget it! That’s just too much effort?”

Our world would obviously be void of Oak Trees, frogs and

OHHHH…babies.

If the Oak tree did give up, it’s possible that it might

briefly enjoy the life of indolent ease. However,

eventually it would realize that it was missing something

critical; it would realize that its heart was void of

purpose. Apathy would ensue and finally death, as death

stands at the doorway of apathy. After all, if it wasn’t

meant to plant seeds, propagate, and prosper, the swelling question

becomes, “why do I bother to exist at all?”

Fortunately for those who have ever climbed a grand Oak or

taken a nap under one’s majestic, protective shade, the Oak

tree doesn’t look at those 9,997 acorns as failures, or too

much effort!

The credo of ‘I do what must be done – because that’s justoccurs naturally in the plant and animal kingdom.

what I do’

I ask, in the spirit of exploring the essential elements of

intentional creation, what if we, the brain-enamored,

bipedal mammals could choose this attitude?

What if instead of saying, “But, I don’t want to put forth 10,000 acorns

before I get a tree!!!” We said, “I am willing to put forth

whatever effort is required, even if it’s 10,000 or more!”

An Oak tree doesn’t say, “This is just too much effort;

everything I do requires too much work and 10,000 acorns is

just too long to wait. Nothing I ever do comes easy or works

out for me.”

No, an acorn becomes an Oak tree because that’s what it

seeks to do. An Oak tree spawns 10,000 acorns if that’s what

it takes to propagate because that’s what it does. It

doesn’t fight it. It doesn’t struggle against it. It just

does what it does. What if YOU could ‘just’ do what you must

do with zest and enthusiasm instead of begrudgingly?

If, as a conscious creator, we could look at our desires and

what we want out of life; look at our goals, and just do

what must be done with a similar attitude, then the natural

consequence would be our own majestic manifestations of

magnificent proportions.

Oh, and the splendid byproduct of such an attitude would be

more joy, fulfillment, peace, prosperity, and flow in the

process! As Abraham (through Jerry and Esther Hicks) calls

it, this is what ‘Getting into the Vortex’ really means.

We must remember that it’s the resistance to ‘hard work’

that makes work hard.

It’s the resistance to ‘taking too much time’ that makes

time stand still.

It’s the resistance to ‘effort’ that makes effort

exhausting.

When we are in the vortex, we ‘whistle while we work.’ We

put our heads down, pull up our bootstraps when necessary

and JUST DO WHAT MUST BE DONE with enthusiasm.

And, remember, as conscious creators, ALL you want to do is stay That’s the entire purpose of your every day

in that vortex.

intention – to BE in the vortex, the flow, the conscious

connection and awareness of Spirit Within as your one and

only source and supply.

If instead of the attitude, “this is hard; this takes too

much effort; this is too much of a struggle;’ you just put

out the acorns knowing that one of them, two of them, three

of them will eventually take off and take off big; become

that magnificent Oak tree that you really desire then your

big dreams as well as little desires would reliably

manifest.

If you seek to utilize the power of the law of attraction to

create magnificent success, I suggest you first seek to

create an attitude of persistence, commitment, resilience,

and most importantly a willingness to do what must be done

with ZEST and ENTHUSIASM! That’s actually one of my favorite

affirmations from Catherine Ponder’s book, The Dynamic Laws

of Prosperity: “I do what must be done with zest and

enthusiasm.”

When I was about seven months pregnant with my daughter,

Ashlyn, I was walking out of the gym when I saw shattered glass all over the ground. I remember thinking,

“Oh my! Someone broke something.” Well, I was right. What

they broke was my car window to steal my purse and

briefcase! Well, I can honestly remember thinking, “Ahh,

bummer. And oh well, let me just clean it up and move

along.” Then, I realized that in addition to my wallet,

money, and credit cards they had my Catherine Ponder book!

That’s when I got mad! You see, it was perfectly

highlighted, dog-eared, and every magical affirmation,

quote, and meaningful theory was pulled forth for me in my

margined shorthand notes.

Her simple affirmation, “I do what must be done with zest

and enthusiasm!” changed my entire outlook on ‘work’ and

‘getting ahead’ and ‘effort’. This was a new concept for me.

It’s safe to say that I’ve always been goal oriented and a

go-for-your-dreams kind of gal. However, I never did it with

zest and enthusiasm?!?! In fact, the ‘harder’ it was the

better my story. You know what I mean ‘my story’, right?!?

When I moved to California, fresh out of high school, barely

18, with no money, no place to live, no job, no relatives,

no car and only one friend, it was indeed ‘very hard.’ I can

remember eating peanut butter and crackers for -forever! I

walked to job interview after job interview to get a job. I

remember walking more than 8 hours one day just filling out

job applications!

And, hey – it’s a good story now. I get to share with my

children my own version of, “I walked 5 miles to school

every day in freezing snow, barefoot and uphill – both

ways.”

However, I didn’t do it with any kind of ‘zest and

enthusiasm’. In fact, I bet that had I come from a place of

zest, enthusiasm, willingness, openness, optimism and

cheerfulness, I would NOT have had to eat peanut butter

nearly as long and I bet someone would have hired me sooner!

That’s how the law of attraction works. I knew I would

eventually knock on the right door at the right time to get

a job, but I made it more difficult with my resistance to

just being at peace with the process. Maybe it’s because I

wanted the ’story’, or maybe it’s because I thought ‘life’s

supposed to be hard’, or ‘I’m not worthy of having it be

easy’. Or, maybe, it was hard because I fought what needed

to be done so fiercely.

So, how do YOU allow yourself to relax comfortably into the

10,000 seeds that must be planted?

You gain power and peace, by focusing on today’s seed and

paying attention to this moment, living in the now with zest

and enthusiasm.

Remember the allegory:

Question: How do you eat an Elephant? Answer: One bite at a

time.

By breaking down our goals into small, action oriented steps

we structure our pathway to success. This one simple mindset

(breaking big tasks down into little tasks) is recognized as

the secret to their success for many a millionaire &

billionaire.

For conscious creators who understand the concept of one

bite at a time add to this the intention: “One delicious

bite at a time” and you’ll suddenly feel more empowered,

energized, focused, and steadfast in the obtainment of your

goal.

Use the law of attraction to attract a mindset of, “I am

willing to do what must be done with Zest & Enthusiasm” and

refuse to entertain any longer the idea that you’ve been

dealt a tough hand that requires too much effort!

Use the power of your mind (& EFT!) to override any resistance to

doing what must be done and instead view the 10,000 seeds

that you must plant as simply, “what I do” and what you do

will be successful.

Why Use the Negative Phrases When EFT Tapping?

Category: Surrogate EFT, conscious creation, emotional freedom technique, law of attraction — Anisa @ 7:55 pm

Q/A: What I don’t get is that EFT states things in the negative. Why not use positive statements like what we were taught in books like “Think and Grow Rich” etc.?

A: This question is a common one – especially from those of us (myself included) that have always believed that we are supposed to be positive at all times.

–> How many times have you heard someone say something negative and then say, “Oh.. I don’t even want to go there! Cancel, Cancel!”

Of course we do not want to focus on the negative or we’ll attract more of it. And, it can feel very contradictory to what we’ve been taught to realistically face all the reasons why we don’t have what we want.

However, just because we ‘pretend’ something does not exist, does not mean that it will go away.

A woman victimized by her husband’s abuse may pretend that one peaceful night is the beginning of a renewed relationship. Unfortunately, statistics reveal that pretending that ‘all is well’ will not prevent the next round of violence.

Likewise, some students of the law of attraction will reach for abundance through the excessive use of their credit cards. Today, they may be pretending they are abundant in hopes of enacting the ‘law of attraction.’ Unfortunately, tomorrow they wake up to realize they are deeper in debt and further from the wealth they desire than ever before.

We’ve heard the phrase, “fake it, till you make it” and attached ourselves to the idea that we have to pretend our way into success. While there’s wisdom in this axiom, faking it alone is not enough to remove the limited consciousness that is the source of our need to pretend in the first place.

On the other hand, when we accept our unlimited potential as our True nature, we can no longer pretend. Instead, we just are.

While using a tool such as EFT requires that we acknowledge those negative beliefs and problems, we are not going to focus on them long enough to expand and attract more negativity. On the contrary, through the very act of becoming aware we instantly weaken the negativity while empowering our consciousness of well-being.

When we start the EFT phrase with the ‘Elephant in the room’ clearly acknowledged, then there’s no place for this subconscious fear, doubt, or belief to hide any longer. Then, after we’ve ‘called it like it really is’, we say “Even though I have this ‘dysfunction’, I LOVE myself anyway!!!” We are actually saying, “I allow myself to love myself in spite of my problems.”

Our subconscious mind has been taught to protect us from falsehoods. It’s like we have this determined gatekeeper standing outside our mental gates, protecting us from being hurt by illusions and false promises. When we say something like, “I am rich, rich, rich!” About half the time our gatekeeper smirks back at us, “No you’re not!”

With the EFT set-up phrase, we catch the gatekeeper off-guard! When we acknowledge and then allow LOVE to flow, our subconscious mind lets the new intention past the gates and into the fertile soil!

[ Side-note: (although not completely unrelated… )Another way to do this is by using assumptive affirmations that start with “Why is it…?” Such as, “Why is it that I always have all the abundance I require, when I require it no matter what?” When we phrase our affirmations as a “Why is it?” question, we again ‘stump the gatekeeper’ into trying to answer the question! ]

By stating the problem, we shine a light on where it resides within us. EFT is about resetting our energetic grid. In order to see where the disconnection is located, it’s necessary to speak the situation as negatively and as boldly as possible in order to shine that spotlight directly on the source of disconnection.

With EFT, we are eliminating our limiting beliefs. In order to eliminate them, they must be brought into the light. Through the process of EFT, we not only put our problems out there and love ourselves anyway, but we take our positive intentions and get them past the gatekeeper!

This is why EFT is so effective EXACTLY as it stands. Many an experimenter has tried to do the set-up phrase differently, without success. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it! EFT works so let’s keep using it!

As you grow in your EFT practice, you’ll find that you naturally gravitate to move quickly out of the negative and into the positive. Thus, using more positive-toned ‘I choose…’ statements or ‘What if…’ statements allow you to shift very quickly as well.

I’m so sorry if I mislead you. Manifesting in reality is not always easy, nor is it supposed to be.

Category: Creative Manifesting, conscious creation, law of attraction — Anisa @ 4:14 pm

Q: Dear Anisa,

Firstly, let me say that you are an amazing person doing a
wonderful job in helping so many people change their lives.
However, I need to let you know that what you have is a gift
and it is simply not available to everyone.

Like not everyone can be a fast runner.  Years ago when I
first learned about creating abundance I was over the moon
that I could turn my life around.  I commenced in earnest,
last year when I discovered your site I really picked up the
pace.  Doing whatever you suggested.  However, my life is
now a sheer living hell, nothing I tried to create ever
happened.  In fact stuff so horrible I couldn’t even dream
of came to be for me.

Last night two people hurt me in a way I can’t even begin to
describe.  I now know that my life lesson is to know how
horrible, ugly, unworthy and to never stray from this
because it hurts too much when it comes crashing down.
Please warn people that not everyone is able to fulfill
their dreams.  – R in Australia.

A: My friends in creation, I owe you an apology.

My friend that wrote this heartfelt letter to me is correct.
I have done you a terrible disservice.  I have distracted
you from the essence of Truth. Although my intention has
been positive as I wanted you to know that you are loved;
you are powerful beyond words; you are worthy and deserving
of the fulfillment of your biggest dreams.  But, I have
neglected to shake up this ‘Truth’ with the practical advice
that ‘you can’t get there through thoughts alone’.

Unfortunately, when I try to limit the length of my articles
I end up omitting Truths that make the words more accurate.

For example, I’ve supported misinformation such as “we can
have our cake and eat it too.” By not also driving home the
importance of understanding the law of balance, (the law of
compensation) that says ‘there’s always a price to pay for
every fulfillment’, I’ve mislead you. By supporting the
thought that as unlimited conscious creators we do not have
to compromise, negotiate, or ever surrender to a lesser
reality at times, I’ve encouraged an impractical
relationship with fantasy.

I’ve unwittingly misdirected you in focusing on the
‘external’ as the Source of your supply when your Internal
Being is in fact the ONLY source and supply of ALL things
good and bad in your life.

I’ve neglected sharing with you critical steps that must be
taken to achieve the fulfillment you desire. I’d like to set
the record straight.

1)    There is always a price to pay, an exchange of energy
that must occur, for a goal to manifest in physical form.

For example – the achievement of ‘health’ requires a person
to give up the benefits of being unhealthy.  The
manifestation of a mate requires a person to give up aspects
of their independence.  Or, the creation of wealth requires
a person to become adept at managing money and thus the loss
of the comfort of financial indifference.

These ‘losses’ cannot be avoided just because we know
conscious creation.  Of course, we can create a comfortable
resolution and compromise but it is never accurate to
believe we can have ALL things we decide without loss,
exchange, or compromise.  This is the law of balance and
compensation, and there will always be a price we must be
willing to pay to achieve our dreams.

Until we accept and embrace the ‘cost’ we will forever be
disappointed in our creative abilities and experiences.

2)     You cannot become a masterful creator through force.  NO
amount of visualization, affirmation, and positive thinking
alone will support your long term success and self-love.

This has been scientifically proven. Affirmations don’t work
and in fact can negatively spoil our self-esteem when, like
my friend R. in Australia, we realize that it doesn’t work
for us. According to a recently published study in
Psychological Science, “individuals with low self-esteem
actually felt worse about themselves after repeating
positive self-statements such as “I am a lovable person” or
“I will succeed.”  And this negative feeling did not relent
when the participants became more insistent, tenacious, or
emphatic.

When we feel ‘negative’ we attract negatively.  We cannot
deny our negative feelings and expect to manifest positive
outcomes.

We can, however, turn to the Spirit Within and resolve the
disconnection, thus resolving the negativity.

3)    As long as your happiness is dependent upon the
obtainment of a visualized goal your fulfillment will be
short-lived at best.

It is NOT the manifestation of your desires that will create
happiness.  It is the manifestation of happiness with what
IS that creates the manifestation of your desires.

It is not ‘money’, or ‘the outcome of a goal’, or ‘your job’
or ‘your spouse,’ or anything outside of you that is
responsible for your Joy or Prosperity.  Nothing outside of
YOU is ever the CAUSE of your experience.

4)    Detachment is more than the act of handing your desires
over to the Universe and trusting that they will manifest.
Detachment is more than being able to say, “this or
something better”
or “I trust in the Divine to bring this
about in Perfect Order and Divine Timing.”

Detachment
is the result of a solid faith, an unwavering
conviction in the all-providing activity of the Divine Mind
Within
as the Source of ALL your good.

If you truly accepted that it is your Birthright to
experience Love, Joy, Peace, and Prosperity; that it is your
natural and inseparable state of grace to have your needs
met and your dreams fulfilled, would you ever judge what is
as ‘wrong’ or inappropriate?

No. You would instead, look at what is, give thanks for the
contrast and become excited about your renewed clarity.  You
would then simply claim what you intend to experience
instead.

If you KNEW that no person and nothing could remove you from
your natural state of fulfillment; and that it is actually
impossible as a Divine Child of God with Unlimited Potential
to NOT have your wants, needs, and desires fulfilled, then
you would rest patiently, knowing that all is well and that
which you desire is in fact revealing itself already.

5)    Although we play a co-creative role in all of our life’s
experiences, we are not ‘thoughtfully’ responsible for
creating bad things.

It is not accurate to say that the person that has cancer
‘created’ it because of their negative thoughts, or because
they were irresponsible with their health and emotional
well-being.

Super-annoying LOA fanatics will say crazy things like,
“well… they must have created the death of their child.”
This heartless and ignorant rhetoric casts a shadow on all
seekers of Truth as brainwashed, crazy cult members!   This
is metaphysical malpractice and should not be tolerated or
endorsed.

Now, I also need to share what I feel is more accurate.  We
have a responsibility and we play a creative role in every
experience, including ‘when bad things happen’.

However, it is inaccurate from our limited perspective to
sit in judgment of ‘what is’ as bad, negative, wrong, or
unfair.

While there is NOT some higher, external force asserting its
will over us or a pre-determined destiny that we have no
influence over, we are collaborating with a Higher Order
that is always aligned with our Higher Intentions.

I can say this with certainty because as an intentional
being, that knows how to apply the laws of the Universe, I
too have manifested great struggles and challenges.

I’ve collaborated with my higher self to manifest disease-
scares, physical abuse, abandonment, divorce, failure, my
son’s health challenges and birth defect, my financial rise
and fall on repeated occasions, and many more opportunities
for self-pity than I can share in one sitting.

In the end, these challenges have brought forth my passion
for teaching, my unquenchable thirst for Truth, and my
ability to believe in myself in ways that no ‘easy
manifestation’ ever could.

While those challenges were difficult, I know that I am a
better teacher and example because I courageously faced and
overcame those challenges.  This, for me, is WHY I
participated in the experience and creation of failure and
challenge.   And, I wouldn’t change those experiences for
anything.

6)    I will not take back the Truth that you are unlimited.
This Divine Inheritance is not reserved for those of us who
are ‘gifted’ or somehow more special or lovable.  The energy
that creates worlds is available to each of us equally.

7)    There’s no silver bullet but there is a spiritual path
that many, many, many teachers have revealed.

First stop on the path:  Meditation. No spiritual seeker
ever gained enlightenment without meditation.  This is a
fact.  While there are many forms of meditation that will
support enlightenment, there’s no form of all-encompassing
enlightenment that occurs without meditation.

Second stop on the path: Self-Awareness. If we do not
clearly see where we are, we cannot get where we want to go.
Through resolute self-assessment we determine what is
aligned with our values and higher intentions and what is
not.  This is the path to change, growth, and ultimately
oneness with the Divine Inheritance we desire.

Third stop on the path: Service. As we align with our Higher
Self, we stop focusing on ‘our needs as uber-important’ and
start looking for opportunities to serve.  This shift brings
forth a heightened sense of joy and meaning.  This becomes
the substance, the emotional vibration, that in turn becomes
responsible for the fulfillment of the ‘things we said we
wanted’ in the first place.

Alas, this article is too long and still incomplete. There’s
so much more I’d like to communicate.

The bottom line is I cannot take back the Truth that you are
gifted and have the power to create your dreams.   I do,
however, apologize for confusing the issue by implying that
it’s an effortless road.   Enlightenment requires work.
However, ask anyone that has stayed the course, it’s worth
it.

I hold only one vision for you:  Completely fulfilled,
supported, and loved.
