Vibrational Video Coaching Q&A:   What to do when you can’t get over your EX and all you want to do is attract them back into your life - no matter how dysfunctional it was?

Q: Dear Anisa,

“I am still deeply in love with my Ex,  and I mostly cannot think of being with another. When I visualize my mate I have to force myself not to think of him, but even so I can’t deceive my feelings: “It is him that I’m in love with; he is the one that deep within I have chosen against all common sense, against almost five years of evidence that we can’t make each other happy. But something in me, bold and stupid, says “It’s true, no we can’t. Not yet. I don’t care that we are not aligned. I don’t care he has given me nothing but suffering. I don’t care if it will take this entire existence and maybe another one too, I believe we will be happily together one day; a wonderful couple blessed with peace and harmony. I don’t know how and when it will happen, but it will. The Universe will take care of this.”

When I feel this way I feel absolutely happy, joyful and completely at peace.

Then, if it lasts more than a couple of days, I begin to tell myself that this is all crazy, that I’m fantasizing like a teen over someone who doesn’t want to be with me; that I should know better by now, that I will meet a wonderful mate, hundreds times better than him, and be so incredibly happy. But I feel resistance to these thoughts and they don’t last, my desire to be happy with  my ex wins over and everything starts again.”

A: Dear Conscious Creator Friend,

First, congratulations on recognizing your feelings and becoming aware of your internal conflicts. I encourage you to go easy on yourself - you are very much on your Divine Right path.I cannot think of even a single time when I’ve been asked the question, “How do I manifest a specific mate into my life?” when my suggestions have been well-received or easily heard.  The resistance to my suggestions are natural and I understand them.  When we come from a desire to ‘manifest this ONE-AND-ONLY one for me’ while your LOA mentor is saying, “Don’t do that! You will not be happy with the results and you are taking a zillion possibilities for your fulfillment and funneling them down to ONE chance for love - (and not even healthy love at that!)”

However, today, I go at this question a little differently with my Vibrational Video Coaching clip:  What if this time apart was meant to be so that you could create the possibility for a healthy relationship?  And, if you get aligned with a healthy relationship and say - ‘this or something better’ then IF you attract a reconciliation then you’ll have that healthy love you desire.  And, if you do not, then you’ll be open to the ‘better’ that you really want just the same.  My video clip explains more fully how to do this.

It is Done! The Power of Certainty for Conscious Creation.

There’s one thing that will prevent us from attracting what we want more than anything else - and that’s the NEGATIVE version of DESIRE.

It’s not our fault we do not remember our Divine Potential but never the less we must step-up and embrace this Truth if we are to master the Universal Law of Attraction.

You’ve heard me say this before — DESIRE HAS A NEGATIVE VIBRATION.

Carolyn, my wonderfully, talented office manager forwarded the perfect Abraham quote yesterday that truly cut to the very core of WHY desire (as we know it) is never enough to manifest what we want.

This is what we have to GET as conscious creators. It is about Asking and Allowing as Abe would say. It’s about Speaking and Accepting as Ernest Holmes might have said. It’s about Commanding and Having the Faith of a Mustard Seed as Jesus said.

We want to take our desire to a level of pure belief; a solid foundation of absolute certainty thus completely transforming not only the vibrational composition of our desire but leaving us feeling confident, strong, and naturally at peace.

If we feel frustrated then we have not taken our belief to a level of absolute certainty! Even when you look around and do not see what you want, if you are in a state of allowing - you know it is DONE. Therefore, there’s simply no inkling to feel doubtful or frustrated. It’s simply NOT there.

For those of us that EFT (or other limiting belief renovators), it is our work to continue applying both EFT and LOA until we feel 100% that IT IS DONE!

If you still aren’t clear about what you want being DONE - read Abe’s words again. Then, listen to your emotions and if frustration or doubt appears - EFT the heck out of it. EFT until you are so bored with the entire thing that you couldn’t care less if you EVER get everything you desire. Then, you’ll feel this sense of peace that it’s all okay. Because then, in this state of allowing, you’ll know… it’s all good, all the time. And, It’s done!

How do I manifest money when I’m so worried about being in debt?

Q: Dear Anisa,

“I’m curently part time. I was in college but quit after I found out it wasn’t what I wanted to do. I have about $20,000 in debt and $960 on my credit card. I’m panicking because I really don’t know how I’m going to pay it all off! Which is why I was looking for ways to manifest hoping it would help me in some way. So, I suppose that is my questions. I’m tired of having money problems. I would just love to finally be able to enjoy my life and not worry about being broke. What would you recommend i do to manifest wealth and prosperity? ” –Thank you, Melanie

Intentionality Food for Thought:
“The Law of Attraction attracts to you everything you need, according to the nature of your thoughts. Your environment and financial condition are the perfect reflection of your habitual thinking.” —Joseph Murphy

What’s this mean? One thing it means is that when you change your ‘habitual thinking’ you will change what you attract accordingly.

What to attract money? You have to give up the addiction to fear-based, worrisome thoughts that ‘you don’t have enough’. Instead, walk yourself up the financially secure emotional scale by affirming that there is always enough. I like to use the affirmation, “I am so grateful to always have plenty to spare and to share.”

How do we know if our vibration is fuzzy?

We can visualize and pray all we want… but if our vibration is ‘fuzzy’, the big U can only send back a fuzzy response. It’s like setting the dial on your radio just one digit left or right of the radio station call letters –> that static is an indicator that you’re ‘off-the-mark’. Now, if you’re conscious at all, you’re going to grab that dial and twist until the static is minimized; only then can you hear more clearly the music of your liking and ‘feel better’.

This question was prompted by our fellow conscious creator and friend, Carol W. (from my home town of Houston, Texas). Carol asked:

“First, I want to acknowledge and let you know how much I appreciate your spirit! You are always so genuinely positive. My question requires a little background. My latest consulting job just ended due to org. changes. I have good relationships with the management and team members. I was told “you’ll be the first one (consultant) we bring back once we get our business model sorted out. In my heart, I want to return to this job, as it was a good work environment with good pay. My question is whether or not I’m sending “fuzzy” signals out to God (concerning the manifestation of returning) by looking for other jobs in the meantime? I have responsibilities and cannot currently afford to be without work. Fyi…I wrote a living vision regarding my return to my consulting job. Please advise. Thank you so much!” - Carol W. As a conscious creator, you can also be aligned with similar static (like that mis-tuned radio) when it comes to your desires. If you are not entirely ‘expectant’ of your desire (not in the how but in the what), then you can bet your vibration is ‘fuzzy’.

If you think your vibration is ‘fuzzy’ then tune-in! Grab your internal dial by focusing more specifically on the optimal outcome without attaching to the ‘how it must manifest’. (I’m talking about focusing on the ‘what’ that you want while leaving the ‘how’ up to the big U (Universe.)

Be sure to make decisions about how you will prepare to receive your desire and how you will appreciate and give thanks. Preparation, expectation, and appreciation are powerful ways to tune-in-to-the-right-channel and get rid of any potential static!

Greener Consciousness and the Dangers of Plastic Bags

In my article today, “The Conscious Leaders Way to Respond to Global Warming“, I make mention of a few ways that my family is waking up and taking aligned action towards behaving more responsibly and positively.

One thing we’re doing is to phase out how we use plastic bags around here - (it’s not as easy as I would have liked… even the grocery store clerks snicker at me when I bring my own bags in.)

After watching the PowerPoint show titled, “The Dangers of Plastic Bags” (created by Vishal Mody, the Taft High School, Chicago science teacher that has inspired her students to petition Illinois to become a plastic-bag-free state) my kids and I were floored at just how blind and ignorant we’ve been!

You are a Divine Child of God; born to have all that you desire: passion, love, purpose, prosperity, wisdom, wholeness and joy. This is not something that you have to earn but something that was granted to you upon birth. Abundant living is your Birthright and it’s up to you to claim it.

Asking just once for what you want versus asking over and over and the most powerful way to ask?

Brilliant magical day to you Anisa!

In one of your newsletter you mentioned writing your goals everyday to reinforce is not asking the universe over and over for what we want but we are really affirming it for our own purposes (increasing our level of certainty, helping us to remember what we are focusing upon and what we must do to get it etc.)   Would you kindly tell me in what wording you write your goals that is the most creating and powerful?

Hi Linda,

And, the affirmation examples in the article are how I choose ‘how’ to say my affirmations.  The most powerful is always going to be the most certain and affirming that is also in alignment with where you are, while still stretching yourself to where you want to be.

So, ideally you want to be able to say, “I AM Grateful for…”  however, there are times when I choose to say, “I intend…” because I recognize that subconsciously I am not being ‘true’ to my self if I ignore the fact that I can’t truly, honestly, and freely say, ‘I am’.

Another way to write affirmations/goals: is …affOrmations.   “Why is it that I have always been so positively prosperous?”  or, “Why is it that I am so fit and trim no matter what I do?”

Only use ‘I want’ or ‘I need’ if you are doing a discovery exercise to gain clarity about what you want to create.  Once you know what you want or need, immediately move towards commanding it into your life with:

I AM…
I AM so grateful..
I Intend…
I expect….
I give thanks…
I command…
Why is it… ???

What about …The Secret, the law of attraction, and the reason that Jerry & Esther Hicks withdrew?!?!

About the New York Times artilce regarding The Secret, The law of attraction and Jerry and Esther Hicks. 

Many friends are emailing and wanting to discuss their dismay and alarm, etc.  They want to understand why Jerry and Esther Hicks withdrew from The Secret and they want to get a grip on ‘how’ they should feel about this.

Many are emailing with dramatic thoughts and emotions of anger, resentment, sadness, and disappointment.

It’s unfortunate that there’s so much drama over The Secret and why Jerry and Esther Hicks withdrew from the film.

It’s just my opinion, but I’m excited about the film and happy that more people are being exposed to the Law of Attraction and how to use the Power of their Minds to intentionally create the life they really want. And, although I loved the original, I understand Jerry and Esther’s stance and support their decision - while also supporting the Secret producer’s decision to move along!

I say it’s unfortunate, but maybe it’s not… maybe that it’s all part of the Law of Attraction at work and therefore part of the Divine Order… hmmm, well OF COURSE it is.

Maybe it’s that the additional drama will bring additional media and exposure - HEAVEN KNOWS our media loves the drama and maybe THAT will produce even greater awareness and therefore —!!! Ah ha!!!! It is indeed perfect.

Within the NY Times Health section, you’ll see the current article “Shaking Riches Out of the Cosmos” -

The reporter, Allen Salkin, interviews Jerry and Esther Hicks and The Secret producer, Rhonda Byrne, and pulls together, what I percieve, is his very own version of the sensationalized truth.  The essence of the makers and participants real energy and feelings cannot be shared within a short and sweet article intended to jab, stir the emotions, and raise eyebrows of it’s readers.  I’m not actually judging… if I were a reporter, I’d know how to play the game and get read too… I get that! And, he didn’t even go over the top with the ‘inuendos’ when he certainly could have. (so, bravo!)

So, here’s what I want to share with my readers….

Does it really matter?

Does it feel good to ponder the disappointment?

Does it feel good to judge The Secret participants as somehow wrong or greedy or whatever you may be feeling in your loyalty to Abraham etc.?

Does it feel good to judge Esther and Jerry Hicks for their decision?

For me, it does not.  And, therefore, that’s where it ends!

Additionally, the entire idea that law of attraction students and teachers should NOT use commercial means to get out the message is ludicrous to me!  The Universe provides the information and resources and as teachers it’s our job and our destiny to do what is aligned with our capacity to send forth the message.  Where it lands and with whom it lands is always, always, always Divinely ordained.

And, should a law of attraction teacher (or anyone else for that matter) incrase their prosperity consciousness and therefore their prospeirty in the process - well, Hallelujah!

We can only truly teach others what we’ve experienced personally - there is unlimited wealth and the wealthier I am, the more wealth I have to share! I am excited about those who’ve participated receiving their abundance.  They deserve it!

Here’s something else that Jerry and Esther shared on their website specifically speaking to the ‘drama’ over their withdrawal and how they truly want us to look at this:

“We think that “The Secret” clearly and beautifully presents Abraham’s Law of
Attraction in a way that is easy to understand. It is filled with stunning
beauty and beautiful people, many of whom are our personal friends. We love
the way “The Secret” moves us, and we feel joy rise within our hearts every
time we watch it. We feel the power of it, and the clarity of it, and we
love “The Secret”.

It is our desire that, rather than being upset that our part of “The Secret”
will be omitted in future offerings of it, that instead you enjoy the
original Abraham version, as it is, at this time, and that you look forward

These are people who clearly care about the planet, who want to be of value,
and who, in our opinion, are of tremendous value.

Financially speaking, we have been very well paid for our participation with
this project? which has amounted to a staggering amount of money. And if

The secret law of attraction is always conspiring in our favor… we always get what we want!

We always get what we want, even when we think we don’t.

The secret law of attraction is always conspiring in our favor.  The sooner we realize this, the sooner we realize that all is well and in Divine Order and the sooner we can get on with smelling the roses.

After my ‘Defeating Your Mental Kraken’ article (on how to make the secret law of attaction work for you), Janie Arnold sent me this lovely email demonstrating what most of us do all too often… despair over NOT getting what we wanted, when in fact, if we open our eyes, we always get what we want and all we have to do is continue to embrace the possibilities.

Here’s what Janie shared about manifesting 7 months of play time in Florida and the most beautiful English garden!

Hi Anisa!

First of all thanks for all the good info! Love your stuff! I just wanted to add something from my perspective on the appearance of not creating what we want in our lives.

Personally, I am finding out that I always get what I wanted - it is just in such a different form than I had planned for myself that very often I do not recognize that I have in fact received what I wanted!! For example, a couple of years ago I had a job that I loved. I was all set to transfer to Florida, but postponed it so that I could cover my beloved boss while he went on vacation for 2 weeks (otherwise he wouldn’t have gotten to go).Anyway, the whole 2 weeks were sheer hell! The craziest, most stressful, most bizarre stuff happened! Non-stop - it was really unbelievable…I was putting in 13+ hour days, ya da ya da. The whole thing circled out of control and I wound up resigning.

Now, mind you, I had covered him numerous times and so that was nothing new. Upon quitting I went home and couldn’t even get out of bed… I was so depressed - I truly loved that job, and I lay there in this state of ultimate despair.  Wondering how I could have been so forsaken by God. I reflected on my creation box (Hicks) and how it was full of pictures of me frolicking in the sun doing all kinds of great outdoor stuff and bemoaned the fact that I was no longer going to Florida. Woe was me!!!

It took a day or 2 of complete despair before it dawned on me that I got unemployment, it was springtime in Alaska and I was free to play from April until October when my benefits ran out!! What I truly wanted was freedom to have fun and do as I pleased!

Once I realized the beauty of the whole thing I had the best summer ever! I was so grateful and with that came the peace of knowing that God would take care of everything and that the perfect job would appear at the perfect time - and sure enough!!

I’m only going to bore you with one more example…I saw a picture of an English garden in a magazine and thought to myself “I want a garden like that!” I was living in an apartment and didn’t even have a yard, but thought that when I got around to manifesting a house I would have a garden like that. Well, every day I would walk my dogs around this huge vacant lot near my home. First, I noticed that the wild roses were unusually abundant that year and the vacant lot was full of them. Next, came the daisies, red clover, lupin, etc… I would walk by and thank God for the beautiful abundance of glorious flowers, and again, it took me forever before it dawned on me that this was the garden I wanted! It was all mine to enjoy…and no work!!   It couldn’t be more perfect than that!

My point is that so often we focus on the shape we think our manifestation should take and get tunnel vision. I think we always get what we want…we just don’t always see it!
